“No… No… nothing is wrong” Shane corrected Tina
“The police called… they got her.” Kit’s excitement was evident.
“They did?” Bette asked.
“They did.. and apparently she wigged. Not only confessed to everything in a violent out rage but she managed to punch one cop and kick another and bust his ribs in the process.” Shane relayed the story.
“Oh my God!” Bette and Tina said in unison.
“The officer that called said that she would be locked up for a while. He also wanted to make sure that the two of you got to the courthouse and filed for a restraining order against her.
“What are the charging her with?” Bette knew she shouldn’t care but she did.
“It’s bad Bette…” Kit didn’t want to answer she knew no matter how big of a bitch Jodi had been it would upset Bette.
“How bad?” Kit looked at Tina silently begging her to say stop. Tina just nodded yes.
“Well there’s two counts of assault on an officer, one count of assault for hitting you, breaking and entering, criminal vandalism, and a hate crime.”
“Christ, what the hell did she do to our house Kit?”
“Hey calm down Baby Sis, if it was just that Bette it probably wouldn’t be that much, she pissed them off when she started swinging at them.”
“My God Kit how many felonies is that?”
“Well if the hate crime charge sticks that could be a class X.”
“Shit she has got to stop this… she is ruining her life.”
“Bette baby, she is a grown woman, she is responsible for her own actions.” Tina was not liking where it sounded like this was going. “You don’t need to be worrying about that. We have enough to worry about with out three kids and the one on the way.”
“I know T.. it’s just hard.”
“I get that babe, but I promise you it is not as hard as it is for us to watch you here in this hospital bed. You are not responsible for her or her actions any more.”

Glad your back! I missed this story. That is the most amazing idea I have ever heard of, and so sweet too. I’m sure Bette will be overcome with emotion once she sees it, and hopefully she will forget all about Jodie too! PPS
They have the neatest friends and a wonderful sister to boot. Just hope that the children are not missing their moms to much. Get the two home get Jodie out of their life and get the new baby her healthy thanks
I am happy that your parents place was spared. The feeling of loosing your home is overwhelming. Bette and Tina have a lot to be thankful for. They have wonderful friends who are just as much as family as the kids themselves.
Glad to know you parents property and the animals are OK. Missed the story good to see another chapter of it. Bette needs to get it out of her head to talk to jodi or see her. Jodi is crazy and very violent and would do anything to harm the baby, Bete and Tina and Tina’s children. She doesn’t want Bette but she does not want anyone else to have her either, thinking like that is very dangerous to those that have been harmed in the past. The perpetrator will not stop until they have done permanent damage or death, and they think they are justified in doing so. Tina is right, she should not let Bette get anywhere near that “psycho bitch” as Tina was thinking after the girls left. Great chapter. PPS

Glad to see this story back! Looks like Jodie got herself into some serious trouble. If all goes well she should do a little time. Glad to hear that your folks made it through…so many were not so lucky. We were sent to YL to help out with evacuations. That was the worst residential losses in OC in quite a while.
