“Baby I am going to call Dr. Wilson. I want you to get checked out Ok babe?”
“T… I’m fine really”
“Bette please.”
“Ohh” Bette grabbed her tummy.
“Baby.. what’s going on?”
“He just kicked”
“Babe..” Tina knew better.
“Ahhh” Bette grabbed her tummy again
“Kit I’m taking Bette to the hospital, something is wrong with the baby. Can you get her in the car while I call Dr. Wilson.
“Alright… you heard the lady baby sis… let’s get going.”
Tina quickly dialed Dr. Wilson’s and left her an emergency message. Explaining what had happened and what hospital I was taking Bette to. Kit was getting Bette into the back seat of the car when Tina came out.
“I’ll drive.. you just get in the back with her and take care of my baby sis.” Kit directed. Tina did just that. The drive to the hospital was short but felt like an eternity to them. Every twinge seemed to slow time down more. Tina received a text from Dr Wilson telling them she would meet them in the OB ward.
When they arrived Dr Wilson met them at the nurses station, and quickly ushered them to a room. Tina quickly filled her in on the events of the day including Bette getting hit and knocked down. Dr Wilson waisted no time getting to work checking Bette and the baby. Tina was having a hard time keeping still while Dr. Wilson was running her tests.
“Bette you need to relax” The seriousness if Dr. Wilson’s voice spoke volumes.
“What is it Dr, what’s wrong?” Tina asked with her fear intensifying by the second.
“Bette… Tina… we have some issues and it is going to take both of you to fix them. First of all the baby is Ok right now, but Bette’s blood pressure is very high. I would hate to think about what it was when all of this was going on. Bette we talked about this when you were pregnant with Colin.”
“I remember”
“And if I am remembering it correctly it was a news review that set you off then to.”
“Umm… yeah”
“What do we need to do?” Tina asked the worry evident in her voice.
“Well under different circumstances I would send her home on bed rest and hourly blood pressure checks, but in light of the current situation I don’t think that’s a good idea. I am going to admit her for observation but she will be kept on this floor. So Tina I encourage you to stay here with her.”
“You couldn’t get rid of me if you tried doctor.”
“I was counting on that. Bette that is a really nasty shiner I am going to call someone up from plastics to make sure nothing is broken or seriously damaged…. Tina may I speak with you for a moment?” Dr Wilson asked as she gestured to the hall way.

Where I live its jail time to hit a pregana lady Jodie is such a b—h Bette needs to file a police report and a restrainting order againest Jodie. As I said Tina has a good right jab If Bette has a shinner Jodie much look like hamburger meat. thanks

My stars, another cliffie. Glad Tina got ahold of Jodi but Kit should have let her pummel her some more just for good measure. The fool will be back or she will go to Alice’s house. Tina should not have said that out loud. Please try to keep her away from Alice’s house and the rest of them and let Bette ask for a protective order against Jodi, and swear out an arrest warrant, pronto. Great two chapters. PPS

Bette needs to get a police report and get a protection restraint against Jodie for her and her family. Jodi should not be allowed near her or the children (especially Colin). PPS:o).

Hey TB513, Thank you for another great chapter. Loved having Tina defend Bette. Jodi needed taken down a peg or two. Good to have Tina and Kit there to do it. Shame that all this drama affected Bette and the baby. Looks like things are on the mend as Dr Wilson is taking care of Bette and the baby.
