Dance me Outside…Chapter 17
After Bette arrived at work the guilt settled in. Jesusleaning back in her chair she thought about how desperate and stupid she must have sounded. Bette bit her lip, thinking about how Tina must have felt, probably sick of Bettes jealousy already. Bette was never jealous. When Bette saw a formerconquestwith another woman she never gave it a second thought. But now sitting here Bette had to concede that if she saw Tina with another woman. That thought alone made the adrenaline go through her veins, if she ever saw Tina with another woman Bette would literally kill them both. Bette was scared of that, she knew the ability to be angry at Tina was equal to Bettes passion for her. She just hoped that would never happen. Controlling her temper had never been Bettes better attributes. Wile Bette looked around her office, spaced out feeling like a lovesick loser, her curator walked in with fileshead snapping up Bette struggled to turn into work modepushing Tina to the back of her mind. For the rest of the day Bette didnt think about Tina even once. The alpha in her had pride enough not to slobber over a woman while work called. However when six o clock arrived the day started to turn a shade darker and Bette yawned, she had hardly got any sleep last night. All through the course of the night Bette woke up constantly, she never fully relaxed in anothers home. Now getting up Bette collected her things and left the gallery, pausing in the street and looking back.her beautiful gallery. Blood, tears, and hard hard work went into that building, with a huge grin Bette turned around and strutted down the street with her head high. Dammitshe would make it up to her woman. Bette went past her Saab and roamed up and the streets, trying to find a suitable store to buy something for Tina. Finally spotting a chocolaty Bette went in. Rows and rows of chocolate greeted her. All shapes and sizes and different things too, walking slowly the scent filled Bettes nose and she started salivating. Something, something.there it was. A single perfect chocolate rose stood in one of the glass things, she would get that. The price was hugely unfair, but Bette didnt give a *****. Holding the purple and gold package, Bette had the guy wrap it up nicely, Bette walked down to a florists. Going in Bette was greeted with the added scent of flowers, the freshness of them reminded Bette of Tina, and breathing in deeply she walked down the rows, trying to choose. After twenty minutes of feeling and smelling every one Bette turned to the salesgirl who had been trailing her since Bette came in. thesea bouquet of deep orange orchidsBette smiled to herself. A nervous excitement going through herthis was the first time she bought flowers and chocolate for a woman.

I don’t always comment but please know i am always reading your story. Grat chapter.
Personally, I love screwed up characters! Too many storied go for mind blowing sex and perfect harmony far too quickly. I like that your Bette is so flawed :)

Wow, Bette, control yourself, you’re going to lose your woman. Jealousy is not a good shade on you.
