Alice and Jordana are sitting at their table, smiling at each other. Shane, back in her t-shirt and jeans, stands up from her seat and tries to calm the crowd down.

“Alright everybody, settle down. The bridesmaid wants to speak here.” Everybody turns their attention towards Shane and stay quiet. “I’m really happy to be here today to see two beautiful people join together in happiness. I’m proud of Alice here to take the next step in her life. She’s my best friend, and I love her to death. I wish her the best of luck with her new life with Jordana, and I hope you guys have a great life together. May God bless this union.” She raises her glass and so does everybody else. Alice looks at Shane and blows her a kiss. Shane smiles and nods and takes a drink of wine.

“Alright, lets have some fun.”  Everybody claps, and the music starts to play. Alice gets up from her seat and wraps her arms around Shane.

“Shane thank you so much for that. I love you.”

“I love you too.” Jordana walks over to them and gives Shane a hug also.

“Thank you too, that was amazing.” Shane smiles.

“No problem you guys. I hope you guys have the time of your lives.” They all smile and take another drink of their wine. Carmen walks behind Shane and wraps her arms around her. Shane looks behind her and wraps her arm around Carmen’s neck. “Excuse me ladies, it’s time to have fun.” The newlyweds smile and take their seat back at the table.

            Bette and Tina watch the newlyweds and smile. Tina grabs Bette’s hand and rubs it.

“Do you remember us on our special day?” Bette looks at her wife and smiles.

“I remember it like it was yesterday. That was us.” Bette points at Jordana and Alice. “I’m so happy for them, I hope they have fun like we did.” Tina smiles and remembers their honeymoon.

“Babe, I got to go to the bathroom.” Tina lets go of Bette’s hand and walks to the bathroom. Tina walks in and goes to the bathroom. She finishes and washes her hands. She looks at herself in the mirror and walks out. She walks down the hall and walk past someone.
