Hey MaDear, what’s up?
Carol I was wondering when you were going make it home. Grandma dearest, I am here now. When will the rest of the family be coming? Well it looks like it is just going to be us. Why MaDear, I thought it was going to be a family meeting.
We not family asked MaDear. Yes madam, well there you have it, by the way where is that Martin and Nada, the three of you are usually combined at the hip.
Martin at his house, but it won’t be long before something jumps off and he will be here; as matter fact he has my car.
Child I saw him dropped you off, but where is Nada, will he picking her up to bring her over.
Grandmother, we don’t see Nada as much since Martin and I became engaged.
What is that, Child I have told you can’t live your life to please others; what are you and Martin trying to prove?
MaDear I love Martin.
Child I know you love Martin; you loved him since elementary school, but are you in love with him. When you look at him do you break out in a cold sweat?
MaDear, you sound as like you are going break out with song.
Girl, don’t play with me. I know you love your Uncle Melvin because he has been father figure to you and important role model to you, but you must be true to yourself.

Present day, Carol looks at Nada, sleeping and thinks, MaDear, I finally told myself the truth. Carol can hear MaDear in her mind, child it’s about time you stopped lying to yourself
Carol chuckles. Nada “what is it baby,” Nothing baby just thinking about a conversation I had with my grandma. She was wise lady. Nada remembers a conversation with MaDear.

Hi Mrs. Porter my mother told me that you wanted to see me the next time I came home.
Yes I did dear, how is your mother? She doing fine, thank you for asking madam.
Nada, you have been calling me MaDear, since you were in middle school after you straighten out that granddaughter of mine after she discovered you did not think that she was the best thing since slice bread like everyone as did. The three of you became the best of friends. There is no need for you to be upset with me; I am not marrying Martin and why are you allowing Carol to do.
Well MaDear, Carol and Martin love each other.
Yes, child they love each other have since they were in elementary school as I asked her are they in love with each other. I know who is in love with her and I know who she is in love with. But it seems as if my granddaughter is trying to live her life to please others and the person that she is in love does not realize that you have to stand up and fight for your rights and that love is worth fighting for.
Stand up. You hear me child. Yes MaDear I hear you. Well act like it.
Present day, Nada can hear MaDear in her mind saying now you are standing up. Nada smiles and says she was a wise lady.

great story line. I was sad to read the end of life lesson. Just read it but I loved it. I hope you will take from where you ended it last time: the big family there are with all the new rivals and new challenges. Please don’t stop here. Post very soon
