She nibbled on Bette’s lower lip, “maybe we should take a little break to eat and continue this afterwards…?” Tina tried, although not sounding at all convinced.
Bette let out a little laugh. “Yeah, let’s do that… no reason why we should ruin all this great food when we can have both…”
“True…”
Bette extracted herself and grabbed the salad and their glasses. Tina followed, taking a good look at Bette’s alluring figure.
“I have something I want to discuss with you,” Bette said half way through dinner.
“That sounds serious, baby… is everything ok?” Tina said and put her fork down with a frown.
Bette turned her hand palm up, urging Tina to take it. Tina smiled and took her hand across the table.
“Don’t worry, T… everything is great… I just want your opinion on something. I called Jeremy… do you remember Jeremy Conner from Yale?”
“Of course I remember Jeremy… and Charlie. Wow, it has been forever… how are they?”
“They’re both fine… I met Jeremy for lunch today…”
“You did? Why didn’t you tell me earlier?”
“”…well, I probably would have, but an important customer came by the office and sort of… distracted me a little…” Bette said with a teasing smile.
“…a little…?” Tina chuckled.
“Yes… and you’re doing it again…” Bette smiled.
“… what…? What am I doing?”
“…distracting me, baby…” Bette said and leant in over the table, giving Tina a soft playful kiss.
When Bette sat back down it was Tina who was distracted. She gasped and looked at Bette with darkened eyes.
“Well, like I said I met with Jeremy today….” Bette said, bringing Tina back from her dazed state.
“Right… yes… Jeremy…” Tina stammered.
Bette giggled. She loved the fact that a simple kiss could still make Tina all flustered.
“I contacted him to find out if I have a chance of getting a job at UCLA. Do you remember I told you that I’ve contemplated going into teaching?”
“… mmm… the sexy college professor… I remember…” Tina smiled, letting her foot slide over Bette’s shin.
Bette laughed, “yes, the sexy college professor, T…. god, you make me want this job even more when you say stuff like that…”
“… I want it too… can you just imagine the fun we could have when I surprise Professor Porter at work…? Maybe I could be the naughty freshman in need of a little discipline?” Tina purred, biting her lip not to laugh out loud.
“Tina…” Bette laughed, “hell yes! I’ll discipline you any day…”
“Nnnnn… I can imagine you would…”

the wait was worthy this chapter was so good, i like how they are working together in order have a better relationship it’s hard some time and others hurts if not you can ask Bette but at the end all the work done is worthy is they will be together and happy. thanks for the post! post as soon as you can please! take care
AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH That’s what I’ve been waiting for. I love the the slow burn way in which u tell the story and at the same time deal with all the important things like jobs, like futures, like clothes on and off…especially the taking off!!!! and then the climax!!!! aaaaaawwwwwwwwww so sweet….now for the next chapter…yes, like B and T I’m insatiable for more of your story….so in between the important things of your life, more soon pleaszzzzzzzzz

I placed all liquid forms of refreshments out of the way. But before that I made sure to hydrated myself. So I was kind of prepared for the chapter. It was still very thrust making and HOT. I could see both sides about the keys issue. Glad that it did not put a stop to the evenging’s extra currcicular activities.
I am so glad you found time to post another chapter, I was realy missing this story…Bette and Tina need to work out a few things but communication is key and of course lots of lovin, lol…Looking forward to more anker.
Thankfully for once Bette did not run. Woman, you gotta give Tina some time, you guys did a really good job on each other, and damn its not like she cut you off or anything. They’ll get there in good time. Now I think I’ll go have that cigarette, but you don’t need one.

Well that was certainly worth the wait. I was happy to see that Bette is really trying to change her old habit of running away from things and stayed to talk to Tina. Your words always have a certain effect on me and I now have to go out, but at least I’ll have a big smile on my face thanks to you. I should have known better, but I just couldn’t not read this chapter before I left. Thanks anker and have a great weekend.
I’m glad Bette didn’t leave without talking to Tina about the meaning behind the apartment keys. ( even though she had to take a blow to the head. Very funny! LOL!) I am a huge Tibette fan and this story always makes me smile. You are most definately doing the right thing keeping them together. On a different note, the smokin’ in the shower thing, not working out so great…probably because I don’t smoke! LOL! But your last chapter was so HOT, that I had to take up the nasty habit just to cool off! LMAO! Okay, I’m ready for the REAL payback in the next chapter. Do I need to get another pack of cigarettes, Anker? PPS.

I am so glad Bette didn’t walk out that door. They need to break that cycle of miscommunication followed by running away. I think Tina more than made up for the blow to the head wouldn’t you say ladies? I think she will continue to make it up to Bette ALL NIGHT LONG. Oh, I’m here for the long haul, anker, for sure. I just sacrifice sleep to write (like I’m doing RIGHT NOW. This is my break). ;) After all, it’s the least I can do to pay you back for your kindness. Oh god, Bette in a convertible…I need a moment. I LOVE Bette’s warm fuzzies at being with Tina again. As for the rest of it, THUD! I’ll BET Tina has skills! One’s that Bette most likely taught her. ;) HOT!

Well, anker, I find I’m running out of ways to describe the hotness in this chapter. No to sssmokin’, that’s too Jim Carrey-esque… I’ve already used a variation of combustible… I can’t use non-English words because my French and Spanish have rusted away to nothing with disuse… See? Okay, I guess I understand the need for drama! Realistic way to show the struggle to change and communicate that must take place. In some way, it’s sad that Tina blames the house for bad memories instead of reveling in the good memories they made there. Loved the door move! Good comic reIlief!
