“I can surf…I use to uh do it all the time. I lived in this house a couple blocks that way.” pointing down the street in no real direction. “I had just turned fourteen and they found me after I runaway from one of the homes…the lady was cool she surfed every morning. She had a niece who was a couple years older, she was staying for the summer and she taught me how to surf.”

She keeps smiling and I don’t know how much longer I can do this.

“Cool,” fuck her she can such a smart ass sometimes. “I want to go home.”

“Mine or yours?” she looks away and the smile disappears, fuck why did I have to say that.

“I don’t really have one…I mean I guess you can say Jenny’s is home for right now. But I don’t know,” I just want to see her naked right now.

“You could stay with me,” playing with the hole in my shoe making it bigger.

“I’d love that,” and I can’t help but smile. “Shit I have to phone Jenny to see if Jess got home ok.”

The bitch, I really hate the way that name sounds coming from her lips. I really just hate her; she was a bitch that hurt her. That hurt me.

“Right her.” getting up off the car, walking towards the raging water I can hear pieces of her conversation.

The spray from the water making me shiver, it’s warmer than the last time. That was a fun night; she was stopping us then too. Thinking of the way the chocolate tasted, of her body in my arms. Of how fucking cold it was, and I feel her hands on my back. The water biting my skin a thousand times, the slight tear of her shirt as I reached for her. Her hand warming me as she fell on me. Her arm in my hand, the smell of the ocean mixing with her perfume and my cologne. My blood boiling from her touch, rushing through my body; the moon reflected in her eyes and she pulls me in. the kiss quick sweet, almost like a habit that she’s done a thousand times over. The hard push as she gets up, her feet kicking sand around as she runs for the car. Her laughter ringing after her and I struggle to get up, I just want to watch her run. The sand sticking to me, the ground giving way as I run to catch up to her. Her elbow slipping through my fingers, and the car hitting my stomach.

“Ohm, ha-ha are you okay?” her hand brushing against the soft painful spot.

“I don’t know maybe.” the smell of her shampoo, her soft touch stinging.

She moves her lips that are tinted with a light pink lip gloss, and I kiss her. My tongue moving across her teeth, swirling with hers, the faint taste of watermelon. Moving her against the car, her body pressed against mine, the tortuous clothing that is keeping us apart. Her leg in between mine, her center growing hotter the more we kiss. Her hands on my neck, running across my shoulders sending those little sparks of electricity so intense that they paralyse my ability to breath.

“In the car.” her breath on my neck, her voice thick and low.
