Chapter10.
The entire car journey was pleasant and comforting. Conversation flowed easily, combined with the odd flirtatious glance and nervous giggle, made the atmosphere thick enough to cut with a knife. But I was enjoying it, for the whole time I couldn’t stop smiling, it felt like I was getting high of our attraction. I noticed lots of little cute things about Millie; the way she chewed on her bottom lip when concentrating, the slight flick of her head to get the few longer strands of her fringe out of her eyes and the way her hand rested on the gear stick, occasionally circling the indentations along the top with her fingertips. Every now and then I would have to pull myself away and look out of the window, just to cool myself down. Drinking before hand was certainly not a good idea.
I apologise for my friends ok, I love them but more often than not they don’t think before they open their mouths. So, Im just pre-warning you. Millie said as she pulled into a parking place outside the gallery.
That’s ok, they cant be any worse than Lizzie.
Millie chuckled and we unbuckled our selves.
Yeah, she is very….unique isn’t she?
I giggled, sharing a look from Millie before I got out.
Unique wouldn’t be the word I would use, but I guess its appropriate.
Millie came round to my side and we both seemed to take in a nervous breath, looking at the daunting building ahead of us.
Why are you so nervous? I asked, curiosity getting the better of me.
Millie met my eyes, trailing her gaze down to my lips then back up again. Just from that I knew why she was nervous; she wanted to kiss me but didn’t want to scare me away by doing so.
I guess its a combination of things. she said softly.
I know what you mean.
Again we were captivated, unable to look away, unable to deny what was happening and unable to do anything about it. I didn’t even see her move but I felt Millies hand close around mine and she gave it a squeeze. I looked down at our combined hands and smiled, something so innocent, yet it began a fire inside of me.

Well hope you people still enjoy and I havent put u off reading the rest of my chapters…thanx for reading! sorry again!
Cliffhanger. Jesus.bump my head on my desk. Millie is smooth. Trixie isn’t to bad herself. How to you fight feeling that just jumps out of your skin? That you feel like crawling inside some one and stay forever. That how I believe Trixie feels. thanks so much
Is the kiss scene hotter than the holding hands scene… cause that was SMOKING!!! And cliffhangers are good ~winks in admiration~
I’m with A of H’s if the kiss is half as hot as them holding hands ….well DAMN girl, I’m waiting impatiently! ………..Clifhangers are good too, makes us readers want more…..Please update soon:)….Great story!!!
Okay I love where you are going with the story, but Millie definately was pretty risky taking Trixie to the art gallery the first date. And you had Trixie take it in amazing stride. The hand holding in public, meeting her friends, and the fact that they were guarenteed to be the centre of attention. Bravo to trixie. It will be interesting to see what happens with people she does know. Thanks for the awesome writing skills.
