Tina saw the troubled look on Bette’s face and tried to pull her in close to her. The brunette stiffened and just laid her head back on the couch, now it was her turn to tear up. Tina knew how this was affecting Bette. She knew how much Bette always feared Tina leaving her and worst of all for a man. She knew there was no competition amongst other women, but men were no contest.
The blonde straddled the brunette and gently placed her hands on either side of Bette’s face, urging her to look at her. Eventually after sniffling tears back, Bette looked at Tina.
“I love you, I’ve never stopped loving you. I think everybody knew this even when I tried my darnest to hide and deny it.” Tina spoke solemnly making sure Bette believed her.
Bette pulled Tina into a hug and slowly ran her hands down the blonde’s back to settle on her hips. They sat like that for a long while in silence, crying for their lost time, time wasted apart because of their stubborn selves.
“I was . . .” Bette didn’t know how to phrase what she wanted to tell Tina. She sighed hoping to start again. Before she uttered a word, Tina’s lips were on hers.
The blonde whispered for Bette to shhh and continued kissing her softly and tenderly. They were soon lost in each other’s kisses, tongues exploring the others velvet smooth mouth. Tina leaned back to look at Bette and kiss each of her tear stained eyes. Bette did the same for the blonde and they smiled forgiving smiles at each other.
“It’s getting late.” Bette observed.
“Please stay,” Tina requested.
“I’d love that, but I have a very early start tomorrow.” Bette mentioned to Tina.
Bette attempted to stand, but Tina didn’t budge.
“The truth, please Bette,” Tina had her head in the crook of Bette’s neck as she begged.
Tina’s breathing on Bette’s neck didn’t make it easy for the brunette. Their position and the feel of Tina wrapped around her waist was arousing her. Anyway, how did she know I wasn’t being totally honest?
Bette loosened Tina’s grip on her, the blonde was holding on for dear life, fearing even the slightest distance.

Getting complicated, love it
Great update. Why oh why didn’t Bette just tell cassy that she has someone in her life now and she would not see her ever again, so simple to do and not cause all the complications with Tina. Bette just seems to ask for trouble with stupid assed decisions and this was a big one. Hope you will make this better and quickly. Now she didn’t really want to hear about andrew so why the hell would she think Tina wants to know that cassy is coming back to see Bette and be with her. Dumb,dumb,dumb. Just read all the chapters again because I wasn’t sure if it was the same story, the title of the story was not shown on these last two chapters. Thanks for posting.
I’ve been silently following your story and here’s what I’ve gathered so far. Complications in life caused Bette to dump Tina; Tina finds solace in the arms of a man (which for some reason cuts Bette to the core); Bette knows that she still loves Tina and yet Tina is the one who initiates a reconciliation; Tina tells Bette about Andrew and Bette has a chick coming over from out of the country. 😕 Hmmmmmm …………….. Bette is a coward, and a lazy one at that. She dumps Tina because she is too lazy to work on their relationship and she’s a coward for not telling Tina how she feels. As far as I’m concerned, Tina wears the pants in this relationship and Is the big spoon. Nice story btw, but this Bette sucks and Tina is my hero. Probably better off with Andrew. Thanks ✊😃

I do like the way to tell a story. First Andrew and now Cassy. Are Ashley and Cassy the same person or are there more women coming out of the woodwork now that Tina is back in the picture…hmm? Please continue.

Wow! Don’t know what to say. Is Bette just purely an idiot or what? She wants her cake and eat it too. SHe should have told Cassy she couldn’t meet with her because she’s involved with someone. Bette, get your head out of your ass. Sex isn’t always the answer.
