CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX
A few days later, Bette and Tina were enjoying some coffee under the gentle morning sun. They were sitting on Tina’s balcony, enjoying their last days in L.A. They would go to New Haven later that week to go and see the appartment that Tina had found on Internet. She had contacted the owner already.
It felt weird to Bette to sit here beside her blonde former teacher and be able to call her her girlfriend. The woman that had invaded her dreams, the person of who she was convinced that she would never love her back, was within reach. She could kiss her now if she wanted and Tina would enjoy it. It was incredible.
“Bette, I really think we should celebrate everything. The move, the new life, having told the people who are closest to us about what we decided. What better way than by going shopping this afternoon?”
Tina had such a broad smile on her face, she looked so very excited about the prospect that it was just impossible for her to say no. She would tell Tina later how much she had always loathed shopping and had never seen the fun in it.
“Sounds great.”
After having done the dishes, they went back to bed, both still feeling tired from the day before. They had had one glass too many – or several glasses and hadn’t been feeling well. Bette smiled thinking back to a tipsy Tina – it was just too cute. But it was also very nice, as she became much flirtier.

“What do you think of this?”
“Turn around.”
…
“Bette…”
“Mhm?”
“What do you think?”
Bette looked up when Tina turned around again and the wonderful view of her behind had disappeared. Tina’s eyebrow was raised and Bette blushed, giving her an apologetic look. She added a pout for good measure.
“Well, are you going to answer today or are you planning on telling me by mail?”
“You look great in it, honey.”
Tina went back in, changed again, came out, sat down and sighed. “Bette Porter, it is absolutely impossible to go shopping with you and get an opinion.”
“What? If you look great, I say so.”
“You say that every time.”

red dress amd plunging necklines killer combo
I’m sure that slutty red dress looked amazing on Tina. Bette was right in that it was a dress for an evening at home and just for Bette’s eyes only. Glad Kit did not give them any problems with them being together in New Haven. They really do need time to explore their relationship. Thanks for giving us the two chapters today.
