Her cell was ringing but Tina had no intentions of answering it .Whoever was on the other line she did not feel like talking to them right now. It was a week after that scandalous night in the parking lot and Tina was still mad at herself. How could she have behaved that way?, and Bette what she must have thought about her?  Tina had done her best to avoid her by not taking her calls and ignoring those  beautiful bouquet of flowers she had sent her every morning. She was too embarrassed to face her, How do you face a woman ,a stranger , you had practically begged to fuck you in the parking lot of her sister’s night club just days after meeting her? That was just ridiculous …things like that happens in the movie not in real life…and not to her.

Even now, just thinking about that night made her wet and tingly all over. What was it about this stranger that made her lose control around her?  Not,  even, Eric ,the few years they were together had ever gotten her to do something even remotely near to what had transpired the other night.

“Fuck…Fuck…Fuck…”Tina screamed pulling at her hair,  “What am I going to do? I’m in big trouble.”

Tina grabs her pocket book and exits her office. “Sam,! Let Kate know that I left for the day”

Tina let the phone ring about six times before finally reaching across the bed and answered it .She was having a splitting headache and all she wanted to do was go to sleep.

“Tina, glad I caught you ,I was  worried.”

“Hello,Helena”

“What’s  going  on?”

“nothing”

“You went home early from work in the middle of the day”

“How did you know I was here?”

“I called your office and they said you’d  left for the day. What’s up?”

“I just didn’t feel like working”.

“Why ? Tina? .Is something wrong?”

“I just have a headache ,nothing that a good sleep won’t cure”

“You don’t sound like nothing, I’m coming over.

“Helena don’t…”  but all she got was dial tone.

Five seconds after hanging , the phone rings again

“What now!”

“Is it a habit of yours to answer the phone so rudely? Or do I always catch you at a bad time?”

“Fuck!’ Tina mouthed… “How did you find me ?’

“Were you hiding?”

“Now why would I do that?”

“Why haven’t you returned my calls?”

“I’ve been busy”

“For  a whole week?”

“I Have a lot of paper work on my desk”

“So why are you home in the middle of the day?”

“I needed to take a break”

“Are you mad at me?”

“Why would I be?”

“Last Friday…”

“Was a mistake”  Tina cut her off  which never should have happened. I’ve forgotten it and you should too. No hard feelings.”

“Good, then you  should have no reservations about  me coming over.”

“You don’t even know where I live?”

“I have my ways remember?”

“I don’t think that’s a very good idea…”  But once again she was left talking to the dial

tone.

“Fuck …” .Tina said, pinching her arms  “am I in a fucking dream?”
