Tina and Alice sat on the couch in the living room in
silence. Both starring at the dresses they had purchased.
Alice; are you going to tell me what happened?
Tina: Later.
Alice: Ok.
Tina: Do you like the dress you bought? It looked beautiful
on you in the store.
Alice: Yeah it’s great. Do you want to tell me now?
Tina: No.
Alice: How about now?
Tina: Nope
Alice glanced at the clock and waited for the minute hand to
move.
Alice: Now?
Tina: No.
Alice: Come on TK. Something happened, I know you well
enough to know something happened!
Tina: Fine! We talked a little and started to ***** but then
I pushed her away and that was it.
Alice smirked.
Alice; Seriously, come on. Talk to me.
Tina: That was what REALLY happened.
Alice: Oh.
Tina starred at Alice waiting for her to respond.
Tina: My god, is this really happening? Alice is for once in
her life speechless.
Alice: No, I’m not speechless. I am just absorbing the
shock. Then I’ll gladly comment!
Tina stood up and walked to the kitchen.
Tina: I need a drink. Do you want a beer?
Alice: Umm,
sure. But let’s rewind for a second. You and shein the dressing roomhow? I
mean, I know howbut how did it happen?
Tina: I don’t know Al. It just did. When I realized what I
was doing I pushed her off of me.
Alice took a deep breath and made it point to look around
the room for sharp objects.
Alice: I have to tell you something and I want you to
promise me you won’t be mad.
Tina: I can’t promise thatwhat did you do?
Alice: Promise.
Tina: Al, come on, I can’t promise. Just tell me.
Alice took the beer from her friend’s hand and took a big
swig.
Alice: Ok see, that night when Alex called me he started
telling me what was going on. So I stayed up all night trying to dig up some
dirt on her. Then this afternoon after lunch Alex told me where the library was
so I could continue my research.
Tina: And I just bet Alex was rooting you on!
Alice: I don’t know. Anything thatRelated
