Rubbing her back “You’re doing fine and I’m sure Tina will be part of your life sooner than you think” with a reassuring smile.
Bette’s eyes are full of tears “You think?” wiping her tears with a hankie.
“If my intuition is working girlfriend I know” winking at Bette.
They leave the parking lot turning south on the PCH to the next gallery stop.
Bette’s cell starts vibrating she looks at the caller ID and comments to Audrey “It’s Tina” with a question in her voice. Flipping the phone open she answers “Hi Tina, this is a pleas” before she can finish
Almost screaming “BETTE its ANGIE” in a terrified voice “She is so sick”
Bette takes a deep breath trying to speak slowly “Tina slow down I can hardly understand you what is wrong” Bette looks at Audrey with distress in her eyes.
Audrey pulls the car over turns off the music and puts the top up hoping to help Bette hear.
“She is so sickI don’t know what to do” sobbing into the phone
“TINA please talk to me slowly, how can I helpare you at home” trying to keep her voice calm she motions to Audrey to turn the car around and head toward the 405.
Trying to control her breathing still sobbing “homeI’m at home” breathing and crying out of control “fever Bette extremely high fever I’m so afraid”
“T have you talked to Dr. Wilson? Tina I will be there in 10 minutes”
“sniff she said if it gets 2 degrees higher to rush her to emergency and she will meet us there, Bette I feel so helpless” sobbing
“Its OK T, I’ll be there in a couple minutes Angie will be alright, we can help her I promise, T I need to hang up try to relax” wiping the tears that are running down her face.
Pushing the speed dial on her phone “Hey baby sis, what’s up” Kit answers in a cheery voice.
Now crying trying to talk slow “Kit we need your help, Angie has a very high fever I don’t know what to do” sobbing out loud
Hearing her sisters distress speaking calmly “BETTE, this is very common with infants listen to me, this is what I did with David and it worked”

Who would have thought that Audrey knew Helena? Very interesting conversation Audrey and Tina had. Tina did seem jealous of Audrey’s interest in Bette. So sweet and beautiful how Bette was caring for her Angie, and how Tina finally saw a Bette she’s not seen before. I noticed how Tina kept calling Bette, Baby…hmmm, sounds like T is reassessing her feelings for Bette. Let’s hope she reevaluates her and Helena’s relationship. Thank you for this loving and touching update, please post soon.
yeah i agree hard time bring people together and make them see the truth…i hope Tina open her eyes and soon cuz Audrey seems to be a very good person too and deserve to be happy…cant wait for more thanks great chappy

Grat update. Sometimes a little drama is needed to bring people together. Spooky about Audrey knowing of Helena. Loved how you got both Audrey and Bette to let Tina know who Bette’s heart belongs too.
