“Did you seek any help with the depression?” Bette carefully asks.

“No, I didn’t, because I thought I could handle it myself. But when I don’t know how I got depressed, it’s a little difficult to seek help for it. It’s in hindsight I know that depression was a big problem for me. And again, I am so, so sorry that you got the end of that.” Tina says. “I will seek help for it now Bette. I will do whatever it takes.” Tina says and looks into Bette’s eyes.

“I think you should seek help also.” Bette agrees with Tina, giving her a smile and a soft squeeze of her hand. “Come here. Join me on the couch.” Bette says after a few moments as she scoots back to give Tina room. “I want to hold you.” Bette whispers. Tina briefly looks into Bette’s eyes, she sees the love and then she does as Bette asks. She let Bette hold her. Bette put her arm around her, pulling her close. She can feel Tina start to cry. She feels the subtle shaking. “I love you T. We’ll get you through this and we’ll get stronger together.” Bette whispers into Tina’s ears. She places a loving kiss to the side of her head. “We’ll figure it out, taking our time.” She adds.

“I’m just so sorry for the pain I caused you.” Tina replies, still crying. Bette just keeps holding her, soothing her the best she can.

Minutes goes by and the crying slowly stops, and sleep takes over. Tina falls asleep in Bette’s arms.

“Where did it get so dark for you T?” Bette whispers to a sleeping Tina before sleep gets to Bette also. Both slept for over two hours when Tina’s phone started ringing. For a moment, she forgot where she was and was surprised to be in Bette’s arms, but then she remembers and smiles. She carefully gets out of Bette’s grip and slowly stands up to get her phone. She catches it just before it stops ringing. She saw it was Carrie that called. She answer it and walks to the other room. She didn’t want to disturb Bette.

“Hi.” She says as she answers the call.

“Tina, hi. How are you?” Carrie asks.
