After hours of loving and being loved, each women expressing and accepting whispered words, gentle touches and passionate kisses, they fell asleep with Bette holding Tina close to her heart. Rain pelting the closed window finally brought Bette out of the deep sleep both her mind and body had needed so desperately.
As she opened her eyes, she felt Tina in her arms and pulled her close. Resting her lips on her lover’s hair, Bette drew in the sweet scent that she had already memorized as uniquely Tina.
She nuzzled her face deep into Tina’s hair, wanting to lose herself for as long as possible before cruel realities forced her from this bed, this room and from Tina’s warm arms.
Bette sighed deeply and thinking Tina was still asleep murmured quietly, “I will keep you safe or die trying.”
She jumped slightly when Tina’s voice startled her. Her eyes still closed and her breaths even, the beautiful blond said quietly “There has been enough dying Bette,” her voice caught and then she finished confidently “I want you to live many, many years and grow old with me.”
As she heard a small sigh escape Bette’s lips, Tina finally opened her soft brown eyes and lightly touching her cheek said “Good morning, Baby.”
Bette looked down into the most expressive eyes she had ever seen. “Good morning,” she responded simply knowing that no sentence or paragraph could fully capture the feelings and emotions that overwhelmed her from the moment she was back in Tina’s arms.
The intensity of her emotions had not really surprised Bette, for she knew that their lives at the moment existed on an enhanced plane, the realities of life and death heightening their emotions and compelling them to whisper their feelings over and over again.
What did surprise Bette is that even after their intense lovemaking, her highly-charged feelings had not dissipated, still burning bright and consuming her every thought.
Finally giving up on finding any new words to fully describe the state of hear heart and mind, Bette quietly said “I love you,” and drew Tina close, capturing her lips in a warm, tender kiss.
They each let the kiss deepen, their tongues exploring the others mouth as hands moved freely through hair and over soft, inviting skin. Their breathing grew more ragged and their touches more intense, as Bette moaned deeply with the feel of Tina slowly drawing a delicate line up the inside of her slightly shaking thigh.

I find myself reading a book a day and yet to find anything that compares to your story. I don’t know why but I am hooked. I have read more books in this short time of your post of this story then I have read in my life.

That was not ‘porno puppy’ stuff in the least! It was deep emotional exposure bathed in love. Tasteful exploration of each other’s bodies searching for familiar vistas and new horizons. I love this story. So much so that I read 18 chapters in one day. Would have read them all but I had to go to work. I seriously considered calling in.
