Bobby and I
Story written on August 26, 2011 by BnTlife.
I remember that night. That horrible rainy night in which my whole world came crashing down. When all those bad things kept on happening at the same time. I still fail to understand why my brother Joseph resorted to drug dealing when our father made more than enough money to support us all. Not only did our dad buy us all these luxurious things, but he also paid for Kit’s rehab and everything baby David needed.
Everything that happened that night was Joseph’s fault. Some druggies just don’t wanna pay you know? And the day that Tyler Morrison ran out of heroin and out of money, he came knocking on our door. My father didn’t even see it coming. All we heard was the loud pop of a gun shooting and Joey already knew what happened.
I grabbed David, who was five at the time and I snuck out the window as Joey grabbed his own gun and ran downstairs. I was able to climb down the tree holding David in my arms and I could hear the yelling inside the house. Then I heard more gunshots. David started crying. I cried right along with him. What if Joey and daddy died in there? Where would I go? What would I do? I was only 15 years old, surely David and I would be put into the system, and Kit was in rehab.
I heard more yelling, more gun fire. All my instincts were telling me to run. Holding on to my weeping, scared nephew, I bolted away from the house as fast as I could. Why didn’t we have any fucking neighbors? Now who’s gonna call the cops!
I ran as fast as my feet could carry the both of us. My only goal was to get someone to call 911, then get me and David to safety. If, God forbid, Dad and Joey die in there, I wanted David and I to be far away. I couldn’t allow the foster care system to separate me and my nephew. At least until Kit was released.
“Auntie Bette,” David whimpered, “I’m scared.”
“I’m scared too Dave,” I said to him. I could have lied but he wouldn’t have believed me. I was miles away from the city and I had no idea which way to go! Now I was wishing I would have paid attention when dad was driving into the city.

WOW That was very sad for Bette and glad she meet the good peoples thats help her and david. Now let Bette meet Tina when she move to LA. Please post more, thanks!
loved this… and can’t wait for more…
sad. But Bobby is a great little guy and so loyal. They do love their masters unconditionally, no matter what and will kill to protect them. My dog Trevor hates my half-sister and won’t let her in the house. lol He actually snarls and shows his teeth. I love him to pieces. He would attack her I’d let him loose. Can hardly wait to read more of this story.
Excellent can’t wait to read more. thank you.
Cool!..I like it so much! ..You’re good in story telling.. this is diff. Diff in a way that Bette has a new Partner. Although a boy.. but a loyal “boy” ..Way to go Bobby!…..Can’t wait how BNT will meet up.
Good.PPS
Frickin frack!! This is wonderful and very brilliant, well put together, and I have to say I always love Bette and Tasha interactions in these fanfics
