Alex was very photogenic with his dark curly blonde hair, light caramel complexion and hazel green eyes which had become the permanent color he would retain into adulthood. Not only was he beautiful but he also had a pleasant disposition and was a joy to have around. That’s not to say he didn’t have tantrums but Bette was sure to understand and distinguish the behavioral changes that were attributed to him expressing independence and those that would not be tolerated. She’d made it very clear to all his care takers that she wasn’t raising a spoiled brat.
As they walked into the mall the first stop was the ladies room. After taking turns using the facilities Dylan changed Alex’s diaper while Bette prepared a bottle and snacks which she placed in the holder on the stroller so they would be in easy reach when he got hungry. Once they got everything situated they headed out to start their shopping spree. In addition to the clothing, Bette was looking for a special gift for Tina and Dylan had a shopping list of items for her husband.
After three hours they were so loaded down with shopping bags that they had leave their items secured with the mall concierge while they sat down for a late lunch at one of the nicer enclosed restaurants preferring not to expose themselves or the baby to the noisy food court atmosphere. After lunch they loaded up the SUV with their purchases, secured Alex in his car seat and headed back to the city. Bette dropped Dylan at her home and the two friends shared a tearful good-bye. The next time they would see each was in May when Dylan and Frank planned visit the art exhibits at the CAC and Hammer museums in Los Angeles.

A few days before the film was set to wrap Kate summoned Tina for a private meeting and said it was urgent. As Tina followed Kate to her trailer she was skeptical thinking it was another of the director’s devious ploys to get her alone, but it turned out that Aaron Kornbluth Shaolin-Peabody Studio’s Creative Director had called the meeting and he was attending via video conferencing. Aaron was sitting in his cozy office in Burbank while Tina paced in the small square footage of Kate’s temporary office. She was fuming at their audacity.

Awesome chapter! Tina finally has had enough and has shown some resolve and backbone. Now Bette will be hearing from her lawyer about Kate and William Halsey. Don’t worry Tina , the Eagle has landed!

I’m glad that Tina was finally able to stand up for herself. and she told Kate some basic truth. what bothers me even now that Kate still believes there is a chance Tina. I have very bad feeling about this. I really hope I’m wrong !!!!

Great chapter. Now you have me on pins and needles until Bette makes her presence known. I do wish Tina had let aaron hear what she had to say to kate, I dont think she should have cut him out. As it is kate thinks Tina really will give in to her, the crazy little egotistical bitch. Really do hope Tina will tell Bette what has transpired with kate and I hope Bette will go to Tina immediately or send Peter to get her and not let her talk her way out of going to Bette. What I would really hope happens is that Bette will go ballistic on kate and shove her ass back to LA. And even better than that is that Bette finds out info on those two bastards and she can get a warrant and have kate arrested before she harms Tina. However, I believe she will try to break into Tinas’ room and if she does i hope Bette is there and beats the hell out of her. This chapter ended on a cliff hanger with the unwritten promise of another chapter on the horizion. Hope you are feeling overly generous tonight and will grace us with another one.
