Bette:(exhausted) “Hey babe.”

Tina responds with a passionate kiss. Tina pulling back, “Hey Baby! I missed you so much today….I just want to feel you all over.”

Bette:(agitated) “T, not right now, I just got home and I’m tired. Can I at least breathe?”

Tina:(hurt) “Sure..” she drops her shoulders and walks into the kitchen.

Bette feels bad she’s just so damn stressed she can’t help but not really want to be bothered. She walks to the bedroom, throws her jacketin the floor, slips her shoes off and plops down on the bed. Fifteen minutes later, Tina cautiously peers into the bedroom.

Tina: “Babe….just wanted to let you know, if you’re hungry, dinner’s almost ready.” She turns to walk out.

Bette: “T…”

Tina stops, “Yeah, babe”

Bette: “Come here and lay with me a minute.”

Tina: “Are you sure?”

Bette: “Of course, come here.”

Tina walks to the bed and looks down at Bette. After Bette bit her head off earlier she’s reluctant to lay down with her. Bette reaches for Tina’s hands and pulls her down beside her. She lightly kisses Tina’s lips then wraps her arms around her.

Bette: “I’m sorry I was ill. I’m just tired and….”

Tina: “I know…”

After a moment of silence….

Bette: “So you must have had a good day. You were so excited when I got home…..why don’t you tell me about it.”

Tina:(with a cheeky grin) “Well….I talked with Dr. Wilson today.”

Bette: “You did? And what did Dr. Wilson say?”

Tina: “She said that all my tests came back fine from my checkup and I told her we had decided to go through with procedure and……she gave us the go ahead to start looking for a donor.”

Bette: “T, that’s great.”

Tina: “Isn’t it? I’m so excited.”

Bette: “I can’t wait to start our family.”

Tina kisses Bette and they share a long embrace.

After a few moments….

Bette: “Baby? Do you smell something?”

Tina panics and runs to the kitchen.

Bette laughs as she hears Tina rant in the kitchen….Tina: “*****!”

Bette, knowing what Tina has done, offers her support.

Bette: “Babe, anything I can help you with?”

Tina slowly walks back into the bedroom carrying a dish of thoroughly burnt lemon-pepper chicken. Bette is using every ounce of strength to keep from laughing so she won’t hurt Tina’s feelings. She composes herself enough to ask, “Baby, what did you do?”
