    Just getting settled…

     

    Back at the house…
     
    Tina:  OMG she is so cute… look at this dress… I love her all in pink…
     
    Bette:  Well I am still partial to her first pair of Levi’s…
     
    Tina:  Yeah they are nice too… but next time… today she is all in pink… when we go and play in the park she can wear her Levi’s…
     
    Bette:  Ok… her first trip to the park she is in her Levi’s… she is so cute… I have to get my camera…
     
    Tina:  What did I tell you kid… your mommy loves to take pictures…
     
    Linda:  Well I agree with Bette… her first trip to “The Planet”… she needs her camera… are we ready…
     
    Bette:  We are now… I have her bag and every thing we will need…
     
    Tina:  Grab a bottle from the fridge… I am not feeding her there
     
    Bette:  Way ahead of you… I even have formula back up… just in case…
     
    Linda:  Well you could always use Kit’s office…
     
    Tina:  True… I didn’t think of that… ok let’s go… got the keys babe…

     

    As they were walking down the street… some of the neighborhood kids came running out of their yards and up to the carriage… also some of their parents came over… all offering congratulations… and all saying how beautiful she was… and some kids asking when they could go swimming… which they were told in about 2 weeks…
     
    Linda:  You made a lot of kids happy …
     
    Bette:  I like having the yard full of kids… it’s a lot of fun… I remember when they all ganged up on Alice…
     
    Tina:  I don’t know who had more fun the girls or the kids…
     
    Linda:  I would say all of the kids… big and little had fun…
     
    Bette:  It was something to watch… hey look “The Planet” looks packed…
     
    Linda:  Don’t worry… we probably won’t even be noticed…
     
    Tina:  What… I think we will be noticed… well I hope so any way…
     
    Bette:  Have no fear…. there will be a receiving line by our table…
     
    Linda:  And is that so terrible…
     
    Tina:  No its not… its sending a message to all the women in there… its ok to love one another… that good things do happen…
     
    Bette:  I never thought it would happen to me… and I thank God every day for you baby…
     
    Tina:  Me too babe…  lets go in…

     

    As they walk in, everyone is standing and yelling…

    1. Maggie got to stay cause she’s way more grown up than Alice. Glad you could save the chapter. Working nights is just as exhausting and probably less satisfying than being up with the baby. Too bad you don’t have Linda to chip in.

    10. Don’t cry, My friend, we would still wait for you to write it again. Alice is just to much. Grandmother can be smart.She did it in a way that they through that it was their ideal. Dont work to hard and thanks for posting.

    11. I am SOOOOOO happy you where able to save it. B&T had better be more careful because it could have been Maggie and Linda who walked in on them when they where on the couch. It may have been a bit much for Maggie to handle. PPS :o).
