    Packing for New York… (I know finally)

    Jess:  smiling leaning in to Cindy baby I love you now I hope we can finish eating and get the ***** out of here and go home

     

    Cindy:  and then to New York

     

    Jess:  Yes NEW YORK here we come

    Breakfast was over and the car was packed…Tina checked out and they were on their way… Jess and Cindy snuggled together in the back seat… and they were asleep before Bette pulled on to the interstate…

    Tina:  So girls… did you have a good week…

    No answer… Tina turns around… and sees they were sound asleep…

    Tina:  well they’re out… its looks like you and me babe…

    Bette:  and that’s the ways I like it…

    Tina:  if you get too tired… just pull over and we can switch…

    Bette:  I’m fine… as long as you keep talking to me that is…

    Tina:  ok that I can do… So it’s going to be another busy night… when we get home we have to unpack and pack for New York…

    Bette:  I know… at least the weather is the same as Cal. this time of the year…

    Tina:  I haven’t been to New York is ages… I think the best time is Christmas… with Rockefeller Center… all lit up and The Tree… and snuggling up under a blanket in a horse and buggy going through central Park…

    Bette:  and don’t forget “Radio City Music Hall”…

    Tina:  Of course… I love it there… its been years since I have been there… The Rockettes… I loved that show…

    Bette:  well we will have to make sure we come back before Christmas…

    Tina: well that’s what good about be retired… I’m free any time… you’re the one who still has the Gallery to worry about…

    Bette:  well yeah but I’m also the boss and I get to take off when ever I want… (I still have to tell her I’m retiring… hmmm later)

    Tina:  oh  don’t worry I intend to hold you to that Ms. Porter…

    Bette:  Oh yes… please do Ms. Kennard…

    the ride home went fast… Bette and Tina talked the whole way and before they knew it they were pulling into Tina’s driveway… hitting the switch… the gates opened and they drove up…

    Jess:  waking up wow we’re home already…

    Cindy:  that was quick…

    Bette:  maybe for you two it was quick… but now I’m beat… Tee I think I’m going to just sit right here in this recliner…

    Tina:  babe… why don’t you go and lay down… and get comfy… I’ll be up with some hot tea… smiling…

    Bette:  hmmmmmmmm… that sounds like a plan… I think I will… but make it Iced Tea…

    Tina:  ok… I can do that…

    the girls unloaded the car and Tina started a load of laundry… made the ice tea…

    Jess:  mom go and take a rest… we will finish up the laundry…

    Tina:  ok… but make sure we’re up by 7… we have to pack and eat dinner and bed early… the plane leaves at 6:00 am…

    Jess:  not a problem…

    13. Welcome you have been missed. Love That Bette is retiring so she and Tina can do all the good things that retired people can do or should do. Got to do more Christmas shopping, and then will sleep for about 12hrs.. Thanks
