    Jess’s show is finally over…

    Tina:  See baby it wasn’t that bad hugging her tight… you did good

    Jess:  Thanks Mom I was shaking

    Cindy:  Now hugging Jess you did real good baby I love you

    Jess:  Thanks and you know I love you too

    As they were again starting to mingle with the crowd a young man comes up to Tina

    Tom:  Excuse me Mrs. Waters

    Tina:  Yes and please call me Tina

    Tom:  Tina I am doing a story on your daughter for LA Magazine and I was wondering if you could give me some background on Jess the readers would love to know how and when she became interested in being an artist

    Motioning for him to take a seat along with her

    Tina:  I do have a story… Jess was about 4 and years old and she went with her father to a hardware store… she was looking at the paint brushes… she was intrigued at all of the sizes… she took them out 1 at a time… and settled on one brush… and she told her daddy she wanted this brush… and he brought it for her… when she came home she ran for the bedrooms… never saying a word about the paint brush to me… but instead went into my room and took my box of nail polish bottles… and went upstairs into one of the rooms… now I didn’t know this until much later… days later actually… I have a room where I would go and do my work… and read… well after putting all of the kids in for the night I would go to this room and read… well I fell asleep and was woken up with the sun shinning in my eyes Let me also say that the door in this room was a very special door… it was an antique… I had it shipped from Italy… the front of the door It was a work of art hand painted I had to have it well as I woke up that morning my eyes go right to the bottom of that door… Jess painted a picture on it… it was breathtaking… now remember she was only 4 and   years old… as I sat on the floor mesmerized… she even signed it Jessie with all of the letters backwards (Smiling at this memory) then I heard her running around… she called to me and then found me sitting on the floor… her face went blank… she knew she was in big trouble… I grabbed her and sat her in my lap… hey did you do this… no no… not me mommy… hmmm really… well tell me about it… what do you see… and she said “There is the Sun… and it’s shinning down on the water… and a little girl is standing on the beach… with her arms raised up to the heavens with a paint brush in her hands… she then said… see mommy that’s God… He is shinning down on me telling me to paint… see he even sent me a rainbow… with all of the colors…”
    I looked into my daughters eyes… and I knew then she was very serious… she had this look… so we got dressed and I went out and brought her a easel and an art pad… and told her from now on to paint only on this… not on
    my doors … or walls…

    Tom:  What happened to that door?

    Tina:  Well my husband just wanted to paint over it but I would not hear of it so I got a carpenter to come to my house and cut it off of the door and had it enclosed in glass and framed and it hangs in my bedroom

    Reporter:  Wow what a story…

    27. Great chapter Keno and welcome back, we missed you. The story of the first painting was very touching. I think the young writer,Tom, may have a crush on Tina. I love this story and all of its couples, including Helena ans Sue. Please continue, you can get a lot of millage and storyline out of all of them while they are on vacation. It would be so cool to switch back and forth between the two groups (B/T, J/C and H/S} while they are on vacation. Please continue and post again soon.
