Tina was in the shower for over a 1/2 hour… mostly holding on to the bars and crying… the nerve of that *****… to call me a *****… she shut off the water and dries off and just looks at her bed.. Pulling off the sheets and comforter… Jess walks into her room…
Jess: Mom you ok…
Tina: Yeah fine…
Jess: here mom let me help you with the sheets
Tina: he called me a *****… Jess… can you believe that…
Jess: mom your not a *****… hugging her… as Tina breaks down and is crying in Jesss arms… its ok mom let it out… tell me what he did to you
Tina: he was touching me all over… and I just said not now baby… I thought it was Bette….
Jess: Mom you have to call Bette
Tina: No I can’t…
Jess: Mom we both know that when you tell her tomorrow she is going to be pissed that you didn’t tell her tonight… call her mom… thats what lovers do… they confide in each other… the good times and the bad
Tina: When did you grow up…
Jess: I had the best teacher a kid could ever want
Tina: both hugging ok baby I will now you get back to sleep… you have a big day tomorrow…
Phone ringing at Bettes
Bette: looking at the caller id… baby whats the matter
Tina: who now is hysterically crying… Bette…baby… Joe came home tonight
Bette: I’m on my way
Tina: NO… Please its ok now… I just had to tell you now instead of tomorrow
Bette: Ok Tee tell me what happened… he didn’t hurt you did he
Tina: No… I was sleeping… really in a dead of sleep… and I felt someone touching me… baby I thought it was you… and I said oh baby please not now… we are so tired… but he continued… and them I realized it wasn’t you… I jumped out of the bed and started screaming at him… Jess woke up and came flying into my room… then he figured out that when I called him baby it wasn’t him… and then that ***** called me a *****… and I continued to scream at him… and he went to the guest house… but Jess convinced me to call you and tell you now and not tomorrow…
Bette: Tee you can call me any time… and yes Im glad you called me now… are you sure you don’t want me to come over…
Tina: No baby Im fine now that I heard your voice… and we’ll be meeting at 10:00 so go back to sleep… I love you
Bette: I love you too… and tomorrow night your coming back to my house… and Im not taking no for an answer
Tina: I wouldn’t want it any other way… thank you baby… thank you for loving me… see you soon… good night
Bette: good night baby
Tina crawls back into bed… trying to fall back to sleep… it wasn’t working she was wide awake… she hears a knock on her door
Jess: Mom are you still awake
Tina: yes… you can’t sleep either
Jess: No I can’t and Im exhausted
Tina: Come on get in with me
Jess: I was hoping you would say that…
As Tina wraps her arm around Jess… they snuggle close together
Jess: Mom I love you…
Tina: I love you to baby… now try to get some sleep…
they finally fell asleep… Tina holding onto Jess…
9:00am…
Jess wakes up first and wakes Tina…
Jess: Mom its 9:00 we have to get going…
Tina: oh ***** …yeah … hey leave a note for your father on the table..
Jess: ok meet you in the kitchen
Tina dresses and walks into the kitchen… Joe is sitting there drinking a cup of coffee
Tina: here I want you to sign these papers today… go get them notarized and leave them on the table
Joe: You were serious last night… you have divorce papers
Tina: Yes I was serious
Joe: And what do you think I am just leaving you everything
Tina: Im not you Joe… if you read it you’ll see it is very fair… we are leaving now
Joe: Going to meet your lover
Tina: No Joe we have a very important show tonight for Jess… and if you ***** it up I swear Ill take you to court and you’ll get nothing… for once think of your daughter and not yourself
Jess: ok Mom Im ready, oh dad your up…
Joe: So Jess you know your mom is cheating on me
Jess: you know dad don’t go there… youre the one who left her almost 3 years ago… what did you expect her to do… wait for your sorry ***** to come home
Tina: Ok Jess… he is still your father…
Joe: thats right young lady… so watch your mouth
Tina: Why Joe everything she said was the truth… and we have a wonderful daughter… to bad you didn’t see her grow up to a loving, caring woman… we have to go… or else we’ll be late… get those papers signed…
they leave and Joe looks over the paperwork… who cares he gets dressed and goes to a local bank and signs the papers and brings them back home and leaves them on the table with a note…
MEET YOU AT THE GALLERY TONIGHT AND THEN I’M LEAVING …JOE

Joe…Joe…Joe…..don’t be such an ass. I like the setup of how he slipped into bed with Tina. That was a very nice touch. If I were Tina, i would probably have gotten up and gone to Bette’s. But i understand her need to stay and be there to get ready and support Jess. And Jess is very grouned and observant about things. Thanks for another great chapter. Can’t wait for the next post.
