    Author Notes:

    “Come away with me?”

     

    Harmony:  “This is nice.”

     

    Bette:  “Yeah it is.”

     

    They just laid and talked.  Harmony played with Bette’s free hand.  She got into more detail about her family.  Bette found out harmony didn’t really speak to her father but she and her mother were very close.  Her father had developed the stereotypical drinking problem and Harmony couldn’t accept the effect it had on her family.

     

    Harmony:  “I don’t tell people about that.  Just Roxy knows.”

     

    Bette:  “Well thank you for trusting me.”

     

    Harmony:  “I dunno why I feel so comfortable talking to you.”

     

    Bette:  “Me neither.  But I like it.”

     

    They both fell silent and thought about each other.  Harmony yawed and fell asleep listening to Bette’s heart beat.  Bette felt very comfortable with Harmony in her arms.  It scared her a little bit.  She turned the light off and drifted off to sleep herself.

     

    3 a.m.

     

    Bette was asleep but was stirred by the feeling of moist, soft lips on her neck.  She squirmed and a soft moan escaped her lips.  The kisses moved up her neck and to her ear with a soft nip at the lobe.  The wonderful trail then moved to Bette’s lips.  Bette thought she was dreaming.  She participated in a passionate lip lock with Harmony.  Bette was now wide awake.  She opened her eyes and was suddenly terrified.  She was scared to enjoy herself.  She was terrified that the person giving her so much pleasure wasn’t Tina.  She broke the kiss and quickly sat up.

     

    Harmony:  “Bette.  Something wrong?”

     

    Bette:  “I can’t do this.”

     

    She got off the bed.

     

    Harmony:  “its ok we don’t have to do anything.”

     

    Bette:  “I know.  I just shouldn’t be here.”

     

    She was now putting her shoes on.

     

    Harmony:  “Wait.  Why not?”

     

    Bette:  “I justI cantI have to go.  I’ll call you.”

     

    Bette grabbed her jacket and quickly exited the apartment.  Harmony sat in her bed and watched the trail Bette had blazed out of there.

     

    Harmony:  “Damnit!”

     

    Harmony’s office 10:28 a.m.

     

    Harmony:  “Roxy  I really messed up.”

     

    She placed her head on the desk.

     

    Roxanne:  “tell me what happened.”

    6. First off great chapter. 2nd like I believe alot of us is thinking roxy is in love with Harmony. I hope bette does not get hurt, she really deserves to happy. I hope tina really starts to fihure out she is losing Bette. Great chapter once again.

    7. Great chapter and great to see Bette finally getting some happiness in her life. Although she is going out with this woman, she still loves and misses Tina. Tina should have her behind kicked for not telling Bette that she still loves her. This affair may prove to be Tina’s undoing. Let’s see if Bette can be intimate with Harmony. My money says she will not be able to do so even though she wants to. Thanks for the post.

Well that was another great chapter,im so glad Bettes standing up to Tina,I think Tina likes the idea of Bette just being in limbo!…Well..Hun cant have your cake and eat it!!!did like that “nap N nuzzle” bit, tho shame Bette freaked but understandable…erither way i love it!

    15. Glad to see Bette stand up to Tina. with Bette teaching they will need a baby sitter anyway. This will put Tina in a bind. She has got to think more of Anglica now GO Bette Go and be happy. Dont think Tina knew that Bette was still wanted by someone else …..thanks
