    That evening

    (Bette, Tina, and Angelica are in the car. Bette gazes over at the blond simultaneously)

    “so where were you?”, Bette asked Tina.

    “when?”, Tina asked.

    “when Angelica got out of daycare?”, Bette asked.

    “I was at the hospital. I tried to call but there was no reception”, Tina replied quickly.

    “but you could of called once you left the hospital Tina. Or you could of called me. Are you aware that she was all by herself?”, Tina gazed over.

    “no. I wasn’t aware of that”, Tina looked surprised and alerted.

    “well it happened. I’m was thinking that we should go down to the daycare tomorrrow morning and clear this thing up. I’find it hard to believe that two trained teachers would leave a four year outside all by herself”, Bette said.

    “I can’t”, Tina replied

    “why not?”, Bette asked

    “because I have to work Bette. Your capable of handling it on your own”, Tina replied.

    “true, but I’d rather have you there with me. Your her birth mother and your appearance in front of the director as well as mine shows alot of concern from your part. What do you think the director with assume once she sees that you’re not there?”, Bette asked.

    “I’m not sure. What?”, Tina asked.

    “She’ll assume that you don’t care”, Bette replied.

    “But who cares what she thinks? I know you believe that I care for our daughter. Don’t you?”, Tina asked. Bette didn’t respond. “So what’s that a no?”, Tina asked.

    “Yes. I just find it hard to believe that you couldn’t receive any reception and then once you did you still never called. Did you even think of Angelica or were you just saying that to try and cover up the real truth?”, Bette asked.

    “What truth?”, Tina asked.

    “That you forgot about picking up the baby. What were you doing at the hospital?”, Bette asked.

    “I have some cuts to my fist. I shattered the bathroom mirror earlier. Henry wrapped my hand in a cloth and bought me to the E.R”, Tina said.

    “Were the injuries life threatening?”, Bette asked.

    “No. Of course not”, Tina replied.

    “Then what’s your excuse Tina? How did you just forget about our daughter? Say if she were kidnapped or something and we never seen her again. What would you do and say?”, Bette asked.

    5. I love that Bette is getting on with her life and not letting Tina dictate her actions. I hope you continue because even though I like that Bette is ‘exploring’ I still hope that her and Tina get back together. Please Post SOON!

    13. As a fan of Bette and Tina this is a hard pill to swallow, but sometimes you need a good swift kick in the gluteus. Tina just got that kick, only this was to her gut. Hopefully, she will be able to pull herself up and get her act together. She and Angelica may have to do some heavy work to get Bette back. Please continue.

    15. I agree with Amanda and BetteAndTinaForever, hoping that this is part of the master plan to make Tina jealous and push her to make a decision. To stickeye, if Tina can hear them, then so can Angelica and I dought that Bette wants that. Tina has a lot of mending to do here, not only with Bette, but also with Angelica. I don’t understand and am surprised about Tina attitude towards dealing with the teachers at the daycare. I always tought above all that Tina cared about Angelica. Iknow that everyone is down on Tina and justifable so, but please remember that there is some good in all of us. No matter how badly we screw up there is always room for redemption, we all have redemming grace or should I say are rememed by grace. Please continue, IC and company have written enough bad or sad endings, we need happy ones her. A die heard Tibetter reporting for duty :o)

    25. Man I really loved this story, but I don’t understand this chapter. Bette saying she wished she would have waited for this Michelle girl. Does that mean that her relationship with Tina ment nothing? Man I hate to say it, but Bette was a real bitch in this chapter, i guess a bit like Tina’s being in season 3. I just wish they could be together and happy!

    31. You’ve painted a Tina with no redeeming qualities, except remorse for losing the love of her life. She neglected her daughter, been incredibly cruel to Bette, used Henry. Now why would I want B&T together? Hard to justify with this Tina. Even Baby A is tired of Tina! Bette does leave the door open though, so lets see what you have up you sleeve.
