The sound of the door closing reverberated through the small
entryway outside of Tina’s apartment.
The noise echoed again and again in my mind as I tried, so desperately,
to comprehend the events that took place over the last few hours.
‘Don’t let this mess everything up’

‘mess’
The words are spinning through my mind and I can’t seem to
form one coherent thought. ‘Mess’? I don’t know if it’s possible to get any
messier then they are now. Maybe she’s
talking about
Please don’t be thinking about
begin to fall. She must have felt it,
felt us.
The hug was supposed to be innocent, but the second our
bodies had made contact, everything changed.
It was as if every molecule in my body had heated up and was seeking its
mate from within Tina. I knew she felt
it. Her arms around me had suddenly
tightened. That tight embrace had
tripped a surge wire within me.
As much as I love Tina, as much as I wanted to rip her
clothes off and take her against the refrigeratorI was scared. So afraid that Tina was going to leave me
again, afraid that she wasn’t coming back.
Before I could stop myself the words had slipped out.
“You feel so good.” The
fear that had suddenly coursed through my body had left me frozen. Then her quiet whisper hit my ears.
“You smell good.”
Those three words gave me an odd sense of hope and before I knew what
had happened, Tina pulled back and looked into my eyes. She opened her eyes and gazed into my
soul. Everything melted away in that
moment because I saw nothing but love in her stare. Love and desire.
As her fingers traced my sensitive lips, my heart leapt with
joy and then suddenly it stopped. Her
soft lips were now on mine and my body slipped into shock. When she ended the kiss, I was sure she was
going to apologize and say she hadn’t meant to do it. My Tina is always full of surprises.
The tenderness of the first kiss was slowly being replaced
by raw desire and passion as we continued.
Before my mind could even begin to understand what was occurring, Tina
began to remove my jacket. Her fingers
burned a path across my skin, igniting a fire for each other that we had
suppressed for too long. We both knew
there was no turning back so we ran straight ahead at full speed, not knowing
where this was taking us and just for one momentnot caring.
