Awful

It was Monday morning. They had said goodbye to Christa, Gerard, Amy and Lucy and now Bette and Tina would bring Nathaniel and Patricia to school together because they had an appointment with the Head to discuss what had happened. Fabian had to be at school at 10AM today because two of his teachers were sick. He would watch Dmitri, Romain and Maleah-Odette for a few hours.
The couple was sitting in the car and Bette was driving, Tina was seated next her and the kids were in the back talking. When they arrived at the school, Nathaniel immediately ran to his friends while Patricia went to sit on a bench and began singing, what she always did. The girl loved singing but only when nobody could hear her. Bette and Tina didn’t like to see the girl so lonely. Before they could even communicate about what they saw, the Head, Ms. Narre, walked up to them. She shook hands with the two women and greeted them. Ms. Narre was a short, chubby woman who was nicely dressed and had glasses on. She only reached to Bette’s chin with the top of her head. Tina couldn’t help but smile when she saw the little woman standing in front of her partner
“We can discuss the situation in my office.” She announced. Tina and Bette followed the woman into the building and in her office. It was modern, neat and tidy.
“Take a seat.” Ms. Narre said. Tina and Bette did.
“So, I heard you wanted to talk to me about something that has happened in Patricia’s classroom. Before we start, can I ask why Ms. Porter is here?” The head asked, looking over her glasses at the two women in front of her.
“I’m here because I fulfill the role of other parent. Patricia lives fulltime with us.”
“Okay then. Can you tell me what happened?”
Tina began explaining the situation: “Patricia came home and was quieter than normal. I asked what was wrong and she told me that Ms. Parker, the teacher, talked about how every family was different. When Patricia explained how her family was, her classmates began calling her weird and a freak. They also began pushing her. The teacher saw it and did nothing… Do you think that is normal, Ms. Narre?”

Good chapter, I feel so sorry for Patricia and i hope things get better for her. She seems like such a lovely little girl, who just needs that little bit of help. I really hope she finds her feet and a friend. can’t wait for the next chapter as i have really enjoyed this story! :)
Poor Patricia. I feel sorry for her.
Great update. We wish the best for Patricia but this is something that she will carry for the rest of her life, it will never go away. It may be in the dark recesses of her mind but it will NEVER completely go away. Tina needs to have counseling as well. It was still rape but she is a grownup and can get over this since she was married to the bastard. It is much different for Patricia, her father whom she trusted, abused her in the worse way possible. If you’ve never experienced it or counseled with someone who has then you don’t understand the degree of turmoil the child is experiencing. It will not be an easy fix for anyone to accomplish with her. She will always be distrustful of men and boys for the rest of her life. No amount of counseling can fix it. She will learn to live with it and Tina needs to understand that. She should never be made to see that bastard unless it is to put a bullet in his head. Nathaniel needs to know that his father is an animal and doesn’t deserve to see either of the children or be anywhere near them. Nathaniel needs to know what his father did to his sister, then maybe he won’t think too highly of his sire. Rant over. Thanks for posting.

Difficult situation for Patricia, but I hope, she will be fine.Thank you for the update.
Hey JB, Sorry I haven’t been around too much to comment lately but life has just been chaotic recently. I have caught up with your posts and this story has been developing brilliantly. Now, i was so angry at this chapter when Patricia’s teacher just assumed the other would sort out the bullying and hurtful comments taht Patricia has been suffering. ARGH!!! I am glad that Bette and Tina went to the school and found out exactly what was happening. Now Patricia can get the love and support to work through this difficult time. Kids can be cruel but adults are worst. I hoep for some happy times in the Kennard-Porter household. There is so much love there that they need it. More please and many thanks from Your Loyal Fan. PS – I am reading your posts even if not always commenting on them.
Great chapter, hopefully Patricia gets better!
