Shane stood up slowly, the cut across her eye oozed blood down her face. The rain had turned into a light sprinkle and as the assassin staggered toward her, Carmen’s heart started to beat wildly. What had she done? She’d shot and possibly killed a government agent for a woman who was trying to kill her. She’d acted on instinct and when she picked up that gun Carmen’s intentions where for the dark haired assassin. Shane picked up the fallen gun and aimed it at Carmen, her face was placid and those icy-blue eyes were vacant. The bartender stared into the assassin’s eyes, unafraid.
“You’d kill the woman that saved your life?” Shane’s eyes darted confused, her brow wrinkled in confusion, pushing the pistol closer to Carmen’s face, gritting her teeth.

Dana slipped in long silver earrings leaning back to analyze in the mirror. She’d picked out a dark green top and black pants for tonight, Alice left hours ago and Dana was already missing the writer. Dana had ignored every work call that had come in since she’d left that morning; any problems on the case would have to be dealt with in the morning the agent decided. She needed a life separate from work and if she ran off every time they called she’d never have a decent relationship. Dana made the same mistake with Lara and it killed the agent to think of all the time she wasted away from the red head. Dana took one last look then walked toward the door anxious to pick Alice up but the house phone rang just as she was shutting the large wooden door.
The agent sighed as she rushed back into the house to answer the phone.
“Hello?” Dana rasped annoyed into the receiver, as a deep voice on the other end told the agent it was work, and apparently important.
“Agent Fairbanks? Please confirm,” Dana’s eyes closed tightly as she rattled off her badge number and confirmation code.
“7628816912…confirmation Dolphin Omega, we are secure.” Dana could tell it was an older man on the other end and that he was a superior of hers although she wasn’t sure which.
“Agent Fairbanks, this is Inspector Dunne, has your team informed you of the present situation?” Dana ran her fingers through her hair frustrated this was happening right now.

Woohooo!!! **Doing the cabage patch dance** I’m first…I’m first…I’m first…I am loving this. I can’t wait for kit to get involved. I wonder who the new shooter is going to be? Hmmm…it was love at first sight for Carmen, Or maybe she read some of Jenny’s Circus crap and wanted it to end quickly. Crikey, Dana was shocked, now wasn’t she? Oi, she knew that Alice was a reporter though. I can’t wait for the next chap…loving both fics. Cheers mate.
what plan!!!!? AH you’re killing me. Hmm…what’s going to happen with Bette and Tina eh? Something steamy I hope. And as for this carmen thing, you’ve really got me going here. I can’t wait to see what happens next. update soon! fabulous job!! :)

Aww so Carmen has something up her sleeve. Maybe she was sent to take care of Shane in a number of ways. Poor Dana having to break her date with Alice only to come fact to face with her at the press conference. And then there is Bette and Tina. So Tina swings both ways (already) and Bette is already having dreams about her. It looks like the games have already begun and I am in the stands. My problem is who do I root for?
ahhh… isn’t that sweet, Carmen is taking care of the killer hired to execute her. I just love those relationships that are bad for us. Bette kills Tina’s hubby… another classic example,lol. Well at least Alice and Dana had a moment till it turned into a big fricken mess…. but I’m getting use to your sense of humor. Who’s rubbing off on who? I’m still your prisoner… being held captive behind those imaginary bars of yours. Wondering what the hell I’ve gotten myself into by reading your story. Jenny… stable condition, NOOOOO!!! Let her be allergic to peanuts…shove a whole bag down her throat. You promised me a twisted story.. I know you can run circles around me, just give me the one thing I want… Jenny’s death. Use that imagination, baby! What is Carmen’s plan?! You better post soon… and give me another tidbit… it’s hell behind bars.
This is crazy!! What the hell was Carmen thinking?? She’s just making things worse for her!! What plan does she have in mind?? Poor Dana/Alice, hopefully they’ll work things out and everything’s all and well. As in for Bette and Tina, will Tina find out that Bette was the one that had her husband killed?? Thanks for the update and I can’t wait for more!!!

Is Carmen an assassin too? They’re both hired guns to take out each other? Did Shane meet her match? Bette better work her magic to get Tina, she has the perfect opportunity w/ this dinner. Great update.
