Angelica & The Artist Valentine’s Day – Chapter 2
Chapter 2
Angie sang along to a song on the radio as she made her way along the highway. This certainly was not the way she had wanted to spend Valentine’s Day. So much had happened since first meeting Lyndsay last spring in Rome. What an unexpected surprise that had been. It was then that she first realized what had been missing in her life. Lyndsay. It was just that simple, Lyndsay was what had been missing.
She thought back to how badly their initial meeting had gone, to where there were today. She loved that woman. Oh how she loved that woman. No one had ever made her feel so loved and adored in her life, while at the same time Lyndsay challenged her in ways that no one ever had before. Lyndsay was a strong, confident woman in her own right. A gifted artist who didn’t see just how talented she was. That had all changed with the show that Angelica and Bette had put together to showcase her work. She was the talk of the art world, and had finally realized that she did in fact have talent.
Angie made a mental note to do something extra special with Lyndsay when she came to New York the following week to make up for the fact that they would be apart this weekend.
As Angie glanced at the clock, she saw that she was right on schedule for her meeting. She hated to be late for anything, so had left herself plenty of time to get to the resort. When she pulled into the parking lot a short time later, she was amazed at how beautiful the main building was. It was a rustic looking log cabin and captured her attention right away.
Entering the lobby she walked up to the reception desk to inquire where she could find her clients.
“Hello can I help you?” asked the desk clerk.
“Yes, I am here to meet with Pat Martin. I believe he has rented a cabin here and he said I should ask for directions when I arrived.”
“Ms Porter?”
“Yes.”
“Mr. Martin is expecting you. If you head out through the doors and turn to the right you will see a walking path marked The Adirondack Trail, simply follow it. The Martin’s are staying in the Butler Cabin which is the last one on the right.”

Dayummmmm….I wonder what it is? I’m not convinced that it’s a ring though. I’m thinking that a ring would have been offered in a more romantic way when it comes to these two. So……what on earth could it be? Something she has to put on…..hmmm….I’m stumped! Thanks for posting Tazzie!
Great. The promised next chapter. Thanks Taz. I wonder if the gift is a bracelet or a necklace. Oh you tease leaving the story there. PPS. Love K x
Hey Tazzie! This beautiful vignette is unveiling smootly. Our guess on what Linds has delivered Angie: a sexy black lace, to be modeled by Ange, herself. Right? That could be a good start to enjoy Valentine’s Day. Hahaha Can’t wait for your next installment. PPS Hugs & kisses on both your cheeks. – Lucero & Marsha (Proud Salsa Aunties to the ever loving JC and Eunichick)
Hey Taz…Happy Valetine’s Day to you and thanks for this gift to us. I kinda missed B&T’s little offspring too. Now don’t leave us too long…we should get another update on Valentine’s Day itself…don’t you think? Great job!
