It was another early morning at the Planet.

Shane, Dana and Alice were enjoying their breakfast. Shane and Alice reading the papers while Dana was trying to stay awake. Jet lag was killing her.
Neither of them saw Tina approaching with her own newspaper in hand.

Woo hoo, Dana Fairsbanks, our ***** celebrity is on the papers. Tina kissed Dana on the cheek just before sitting down at the table

Dana blushed, trying to smile, still uncomfortable by her new celebrity status.

Yeah, we are totally proud of her. Shane was smiling, totally proud of her.
Too bad stardom freezes her moves Alice, teased, smiling at a wide open eyes, even more blush, Dana.

What? Tina was confused now.
Nothing! Dana was looking at Tina, happy to see her.

So Tee, when do you start your new job? Dana asked,trying to change the subject.
New Job? Alice and Shane asked in unison

Tina laughed at them, nodding.
Yeah, they told me this morning. I got the part time job at the agency.
You did? Cool. Alice was patting her on the shoulder, smiling.
Yeah, that means a bit of money too so I might be able to leave your apartment Dane, maybe find a cheap small one.
Hey, you dont need to. Why dont you stay a bit longer? Youd save some money and besides I spend a lot of times at Alices so

Alice was nodding, smiling at Dana.

Yeah well, I dont know. .. will see. Tina was distracted by Jack who was ordering at the counter, smiling at her.

Shane noticing the exchange of looks leaned into Tina, whispering.

I thought you were spending some time with Bette.
Tina, looking back at Shane nodded.

Yeah, we are… (looked at jack and back at Shane) its not that.
Shanes look made Tina smile.

No, really, I just want to tell Jack about the job.
Job? Jack was at the table, looking at Tina, cocking an eyebrow.

I got the job. Tina said,broadly smiling at Jack.

Alice was looking at the two of them while Dana was looking at the two of them too and back to Alice and Shane, not understanding anything.

Oh, I need to ask Marina about that that ad agency she told me about. Dana was grimacing, pinching Alices leg, trying to get her join the lie.
Ehh, yeah, totally, I want to know too I,(looking at a surprised Shane, Tina and Jack) I I am gonna write about LA ten best ad agencies, yeah thats it.

Alice followed Danas steps to Marinas office.

What was all that about? Alice whispered to Dana
Al, Whos that? Why is Tina so happy and why is Shane sosooI dont know!.”
Alice smiled at Danas clueless face.

Yeah, I see… I guess I should have told you whats been going on.
Yeahh Dana was shaking her head.
Hey, Its not my fault you had me occupied.

Alice said kissing Danas lips, leaving a giggling Dana waiting for an answer.

Ok, Lets see. Mm, Tina has a new friend, Jack
Tina is friends with a guy now? Dana interrupted Alice, looking at Tina from behind the counter.

No (Alice laughed), Jack is (pointing at Tinas table)… Jack

Yeah, well, Tina and Jack are friends, very good friends. Tina and Bette are friends, or trying to be friends again with tongue rights that I know of (winking at Dana) Bette knows about Jack, she is jealous but doesnt admit it. Tina is becoming Angelina Jolie (notices Danas confuse look), You will see and Shane Shane is becoming a nun.
What? What you mean?
“Well, our dear Casanova hasnt slept with anyone since coming back from Paris”.
Really? (Dana moved slightly to take a look at Shane) Wow, no wonder she slept with everybody there, must be still exhausted.

Alice smiling at her naiveness, was pushing Dana back to the table, but suddenly stopped making Dana looked back at her.

Oh, I forgot.
What else? Dana was smiling, giving in, expecting anything from Alice now.
You know whos Jack?
Dana turned her head, to take a better look at Jack.
Mm, Tinas friend?
Alice giggled.
Yeah, besides..
What? Come on Al tell me!
She is June Hasselblad granddaughter Alice was looking at Dana, waiting for her response, looking at her fully in the eyes.

What? Danas question made a few heads turn to look at her.
The river and the night June Hasselblad?, that June Hasselblad?

Dana was looking at Alice, waiting for a teasing nod, but she got nothing just a big smile.

Alice was happy to finally find someone as excited by the news as she was.
WOW. Was all Dana said, astonish by the news
I know.., come on.

Dana was looking at Jack with different eyes now, wondering, impress. She clumsily sat down at the table while Alice, Shane and Tina looked at her, smiling.

So, hows the agency world going? Jack was teasing, knowing that there was none.
Eh? Dana was looking at her, feeling a little shy.
Hi, Im Jack, you must be Dana. Jack was smiling broadly, making Dana much more comfortable.
Yeah, hi Im Dana I mean, yeah, hi.

Alice was laughing again, shaking her head.
Jet lag you know (Alice said, putting her arm over Danas shoulders). she is usually much more awake.
Tina and Shane nodded, smiling.

So T, that job, wow we should celebrate it Jack was looking at Shane and Alice, nodding, encouraging.
Yeah T, we should. Alice added, nodding.

Tina was smiling, quiet, looking at her friends.

Oh, I know why dont we all go to my grandmothers house for the weekend?

Jack felt four pair of wide eyes looking at her.

What? Dont you think is a great idea? Its an amazing house, huge gardens,amazing place, wed go to the beach Its up north, close to San Francisco. We could leave on Friday and come back Sunday night.

Dana and Alice couldnt barely hide her enthusiasm, June Hasselblad s house! They didnt care for the plans, they were in!.
Shane was happy to go anywhere and the plan sounded like fun.
Tina was looking at Jack, wondering. She was happy that she invited her friends but was still feeling a little uneasy by her feelings for her. She was trying to work things out with Bette or at least to get to know where they were with each other. Besides, Tina didnt want to give Jack false hope by accepting but still wanted to be her friend.

Jack was looking at all of them, waiting for an answer. They were all pretty much lost in their thoughts so no one noticed Bette reaching the table.

Bette saw their usual table and as she was approaching she noticed how beautiful Tina looked. She was wearing jeans and a kind of hippy shirt and her curly hair was all messy. Cute as *****! Bette thought, smiling.

But the smile faded when she saw Jack. She was getting to know her. She wanted to dislike her but had to admit that she was quite a woman. She hated to admit that she was beautiful, had an amazing body, a ***** smile and from what she heard from Shane, was very talented at the piano. She was also funny and very nice to her which only made Bette feel even worse.

Tina introduced the two of them a few days ago and Bette noticed, from the first moment, the way Jack looked at Tina and how Tina looked at Jack. She could not tell what it was but there was something in the looks they exchanged that was driving Bette nuts. She hated that she was not able to read Tinas thoughts any more.

She was more than happy spending time with her. They went on a couple of dates. Dates, she wanted to call them dates, but was not sure that Tina thought about them as dates too. They went to the movies and to a concert. The talked a lot, mostly neutral topics as neither of them wanted to touch heavy ones yet. The enjoyed each others company, Bette was sure of that. But at the end, when the good night kiss moment arrived both of them usually felt awkward, leaving Bette confuse and worried. They havent talk about ***** either and Bette knew that it was a topic they should discuss, if only to know what their last ***** encounters meant.

She wanted to talk with Tina, wanted to touch her but was feeling strange, wanted to have a plan, but she was feeling unable to think or make up any. She was getting to a point where she knew she needed to do something drastic or creative at least….
