    CHAPTER 12 – PIECE OF ME   Tina woke up in the middle of the night and felt someone’s arm draped in her waist. The blonde closed her eyes again and thought about the last time that she was in bed with this person beside her. A few years ago this person would just barge

    CHAPTER 12 – PIECE OF ME

     

    Tina woke up in the middle of the night and felt someone’s arm draped in her waist. The blonde closed her eyes again and thought about the last time that she was in bed with this person beside her. A few years ago this person would just barge in her room in the middle of the night and wake her up just to say that she needs to move to the right side of her bed because her annoying bestfriend would like to have a sleepover. Tina smiled as she remembered the times when in her sleepy and grumpy mood she would sneer at the brunette but Bette would just usually give her a silly grin, a pat on the head then a nudge and some command to move immediately.

     

    The blonde opened her eyes again and turned sideways so that she is fully facing the person who is sleeping peacefully beside her. She could see the silhouette of the brunette even in the faintest light that comes from the window and it warmth her heart. She smiled as she thinks that now it is actually her who would like to stay and sleep here in Bette’s room.

     

    She looked at the clock and saw that it is almost twelve midnight and she is sure that anytime now the brunette would wake up to look for food. That is if Bette’s appetite haven’t change yet during the time that she was in Boston. She knows that the brunette loves to eat some midnight snack plus the fact that Bette hasn’t eaten anything after she had taken the call from Madie.

     

    Tina sighed as she remembered the event’s this afternoon that had exhausted the brunette. The call from Boston was just the final blow but for sure the kiss and tension between her and the brunette plus Lara’s presence must have affected Bette and she felt bad for the brunette. When the call from Boston ended they all saw that the brunette cried instantly and they all got worried with Bette and instinctively she comforted the brunette.

    She brought Bette inside the house and run a bath for the brunette but after a few minutes of waiting inside Bette’s room the blonde checked the bathroom and discovered Bette sitting on the bath tub sobbing endlessly. She consoled the brunette and convinced Bette to take a rest for a while but before she could get out of the room, the brunette held her hand and asked her not leave. So she stayed at Bette’s room and waited until the brunette was finally asleep before she had decided to go to the pool area to grab something to eat and tell their friends that Bette is taking some needed rest.

    4. Great! Their love is still there, apart from what happened years ago, and we can see it by how Bette laid on Tina as soon as things became unbearable.. She misses her baby girl and forgetting about her will be impossible. I’m pretty sure Tina will be able to help her, this way it will be a good chance for Tina to show Bette how she really cares about her, and love her. It would solve two problems at once.

    10. I am very glad that Bette and Tina became friends again. and I also really liked that Tina stood by her feelings when Lara confronted her.
      from what Lara did, I realized that nothing other than Mika was at the beginning of the story: just as possessive and jealous. maybe she likes Bette, but wants to possess her, and I do not like to use all the time, “I was there in Boston card” is pathetic and wrong. Bette said purely to her friendship towards Lara, although Bette care about the girl does not deny her feelings for Tina!
      I hope Lara slowly out of the picture, because as a friend would be good for Bette. because she does not want to be her partner in life, but also the possessor for Bette.
      I hope Tina can help Bette to see Madie.
      I’m looking forward to the next chapter (I hope will be an ever closer relationship between Bette and Tina)

        I like Lara and I don’t want her to become like Mika. I think she is just in love with Bette and when we are in love we tend to be aggressive and defensive :) Let us see what will happen between the Lara and Bette :)

      I’m so glad that B and T are back to being friends again.. friends in love.. in love with one another.. but Tina should check her motives in befriending Bette again. Does she really cared for Bette or she has this hidden agenda.. wants to be Bette’s lover but when the relationship won’t work, she will turn her back again. I hope this time she’s willing to work for their friendship.. the thing she failed to do in the past. But you know they can always be bestfriends and lovers rolled into one.. I think that would be great.

      Trigger warning :-) – Thanks for having Tina finally show some compassion for Bette and her situation. Up until now it was only about what Tina wanted without taking Bette’s feelings into consideration. Tina still needs to earn the trust but at least she is making an effort to put Bette first. If she has a part in bringing Maddie and Bette together I hope it isn’t to make Bette beholden to her. Lara and Bette don’t stand a chance as lovers (personally I can’t see them as a couple) but I hope the foundation of their friendship is such that Bette will be respectful and at least talk to Lara and make a break before she starts sleeping with Tina. It’s too bad Bette doesn’t get to make her own choice. Looking forward to the next chapter.
