Doctor: I won’t know until I get her to the emergency room and then I have to get an x-ray of the wounded area. But we’ll let you know as soon as possible…The double doors are getting closer as it is time to let Shane go…Carmen doesn’t want to let go of the rails…But she does…She tries to run after her lover…But Bette holds her…Carmen breaks down in her arms as her tears over flow onto her shirt…Bette pats her head…

Bette: Shhh everything is going to be ok?

That’s what she hoped as she held her young friend in her arms…As her cries echo through the hall of Good Semaritan Hospital…Tina comes running up to Bette crying…

Tina: Alice she isn’t breathing. Come quick

Bette and Carmen run down the hall towards the room…The door closes in front of them…All they have is the glass in front of them as they watch the doctors all close in to save their friend…

3 HOURS LATER…GOOD SEMARITAN HOSPITAL LOBBY

The women couldn’t bear seeing the doctor’s work on Alice…So Kit has decided to let god do his work and they all reunite in the lobby…The women took their seats in the empty chairs…Chairs that alot of families have cried in from losing a loved one…Chairs that families have used to wait patiently on the arrival of there new member of the famliy…Bette thinks in her head as she watches the the time pass by her..Her breathing picks up a bit now and hope is the only thing that she is wishing for…She glances at the other women and she sees their pain as well…Kit can’t stop biting her nails…Dana can’t stop crying…Her tears still flow now forming dry spots on her face…Tina keeps rubbing her stomach and patting Dana’s back…Carmen is leaning on Bette’s ahoulder…This is all too much for the young latina girl to take…Bette places her hands on her face…The doctor comes up behind her

Bette and the women look up at the sight of the doctor’s voice…They all stand up at the same time…Tina takes Dana in her arms…While Bette does the same for Carmen…And Kit grabs ahold of Dana’s spare hand
