    Bette: Now this is relaxing

    Tina: Yeah it is. My ankles are swollen so it’s good to soak them

    Bette: Why don’t I ice your ankles down. I can make you a bag and you can sleep with it. I’ll wrap something around it to keep it in place

    Tina: That is a good idea. Why didn’t I think of that?

    Bette: I should be asking myself that.

    Bette holds Tina tighter

    Bette: You now I almost lost my job

    Tina turns around and looks at Bette

    Tina: How?

    Bette: Helena. She wanted Franklin to buy out my contract.

    Tina: What did you do?

    Bette: I called Peggy Peabody

    Tina: Helena’s mother?

    Bette: Yes. And I let her know what her daughter was planning on doing to me. She told me to give her until the next day to handle it. And just when I felt like there was no hope she showed up at the CAC today

    Tina: When did this happen and what was the results of your employment with the CAC?

    Bette: Well it happened yesterday and I will be remainging with the CAC for as long as I please. And Helena will no longer be in charge of the foundation. Her mother ordered her to go back to New York. She will be leaving tomorrow

    Tina turns back around and faces the facet…She plays with the bubbles in her hands as they disappear when she places them in the water…Bette’s sees that something is wrong…She rubs Tina’s shoulders

    Bette: Are you ok?

    Tina: Yes I am. I am just happy that it’s all over. God we finally have our lives back.

    Bette: You ain’t kidding.

    Bette dips her cloth in the water…She soaks it and then she adds some soap…She begins to clean Tina’s back…She washes it and then she rinses it…Tina on the other hands is washing her legs and her arms…

    Tina: Babe I’ve been thinking?

    Bette: About what?

    Tina: The baby shower and my birthday

    Bette smiles

    Bette: So what’s on your mind

    Tina: I was hoping to have something special with our friends first and then you and I have a romantic night together. You know get a hotel room maybe even use the reservations that Kit gave us. I don’t but I want to be under you no matter what
