Bette: May I bum one from you?
James: Sure
James takes a cigarette from out of the box…He hands it to her
James: Here you go. Bette I never knew that you smoke
Bette: Because I don’t really. I do it sometimes but I don’t consider myself a smoker really
James: Ok
Bette: Thank you
James: Your welcome
Bette takes the cigarette and she heads outside…She remenbers that she has Tina on hold
Bette: T?
Tina: I’m here
Bette: So did the money turn out ok from the proposal
Tina: Yes. They gave us a 100,000 dollars
Bette: Um
Bette lights the cigarette and takes a puff…She inhales and then she exhales releasing the smoke
Bette: So what did you all decide to do with the money?
Tina: Well oscar and myself put money towards the club organizations and we all put money towards the social justice program. I believe about 50,000 dollars.
Bette: So what happened to the rest of the money?
Tina: It was awarded to me in a check of 50,000. That’s all that we needed but I wnded up getting more than what I asked for.
Bette takes another puff of the cigarette…She blows the smoke out
Bette: So what did you do with your half?
Tina: I put 25,000 in the bank for you and some for me. Why?
Bette doesn’t want to tell Tina that she may lose her job…She wants to tell her in person than over the phone
Bette: We’ll talk about that later
Tina: Are you sure?
Bette: Yes I’m sure
Bette takes her last puff and she tosses the cigarette tot eh ground…She goes back inside of the CAC
Bette: So is there anything in particular that you would like yo do later?
Tina: Yes. We have to shop for the beach tomorrow night
Bette thinks about it
Bette: You know you are right. We have to go today. Mayve we can go to Walmart
Tina: Good choice.
Tina looks at the clock
Tina: Well I’ve held you know for a bit. And your ceephone bill is not cheap so I’ll call you in a few
Bette: Ok. Oh and T?
Tina: Yeah babe
Bette: I love you. Do you hear me?
Tina: Yes I heard you and I love you too
Bette: If I don’t call you then-
Tina cuts Bette off
Tina: Then I will call you
Bette: Ok. Bye
Tina: Bye
Bette hangs up…She arrives at her office door and opens it…Candace had left and Bette was relieved she was glad that god was working on her side today…James calls her over the intercom
James: Bette
Bette: Yeah James
James: Franklin wants to see you in the conference room
Bette: Ok. Thanks
Bette gets up from the chair…She adjusts her suit…She looks at herself in the mirror and makes sure everything is in check…She opens the door and closes it behind her self as she heads to the conference room…Today will be the day when she will find out if Monday will be her last day…

I love this story, really I do, but Candy Ass is really bothering me. Well her and Bette. So if Tina wouldnt have called was Bette just gonna let Candace fuck her right there. Then she just stands there. Thats not the Bette we know. Then why is she professing her love to Tina so much, making sure she understands, but then letting another woman feel and kiss all over her. This shit isnt right. I really intrestead in where this is going. I hope my couple will pull through this, but its not looking good. If I was Tina and found out about the elevator and the office, I would be outa there ASAP. Dont brake Tina’s heart a second time.
Even Bette is under stress because she may lose her job, why Bette lets candace kiss and touch her and says to Tina just after ” I love you. Do you hear me ? Why Bette says to candace “I can’t” ? Does she want it ? Is she tempts ? Tina seems not enough for Bette. It makes me remember what’s happen when Candace walked in the Planet and Bette whose eyes are fixed on Candace like a wild deer” didn’t say anything. Bette needs to be honest with Tina. If she wants Candace, she could say it. Tina earns someone who wants her and only her

alice is kinda of taking Dane for granted. That’s not cool. I’m glad Dana has some backbone and stands up for herself. I like that you bring Candance back as a distraction that Bette has to face and push away. Bette is in such turmoil….everything in her life is on the line right now and she’s doing her best under the strain. I think keeping Candance in the story brings out a beautiful contrast between the old Bette and the new Bette. Once again she’s in an unbelievably stressful situation with a temptress nipping at her heels. Oh what, oh what will she do? Thanks for another great one. This chapter had me totally captivated.
