    Bette and Tina have a heart to heart…While Helena shows up at Tina’s apartment…How will Bette take it?…And who will Tina choose?


    Bette goes to the desk and answers the phone

    Bette: Bette Porter speaking

    Candace: I miss you and I need to see you Bette. Just for a few minutes please. Ever since I saw you last night I wasn’t able to sleep. I promise after I see you I will never ever contact you again

    Tina sees Bette’s facial expression change from a smile to being worried…She is not sure if she should say anything so she stays quiet…Bette turns her back to Tina

    lowering her voice

    Bette: I don’t believe you

    Candace: Well believe me. I am leaving on Friday for Florida and this is my only chance to put closure between us before I leave. Please Bette just one last time I have to see you

    Bette puts the phone over her chest…All the feelings that she thought that were gone came back…Tina gets up from the chair and walks over to Bette…She rubs her back…She turns Bette around and looks into her eyes…There was a tear sitting in the corner of her eye waiting to fall upon her flushed cheeks

    Tina: What’s the matter?

    Bette is out of words…All she could do is stare at Tina

    Tina: Bette who are you talking to?

    Bette doesn’t answer…Tina then takes the phone from Bette

    Tina: Hello…Hello…Who is this?

    The phone clicks…Tina turns to Bette for an explanation…Bette still doesn’t say anything

    AT THE CAC

    Tina: Bette who was that on the phone?

    Bette looks down at the floor then back at Tina

    Bette: It was Candace

    Tina: Candace?

    Bette: Yes Candace she was calling to see if I could see her again one last time before she moves to Florida

    Bette takes a deep breath

    Tina: What does ” I don’t believe you” mean?

    Bette: It means that I didn’t believe that she would no longer bother me anymore if I met with her. That was what she said

    Tina: Do you believe her?

    Bette: Part of me does and part of me doesn’t

    Tina goes to the table cleaning up the trash from lunch and then she throws it away…She doesn’t say anything to Bette…She puts her bag over her shoulder and heads for the door…Bette runs after her grabbing ahold of her arm

    5. vakkak I mean WTF???? I like them both??? after Tina gives Bette a hard time about Candace she’s gonna talk about liking some other chic??? Please, get real! That’s not consistent with the rest of your story.

    6. WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?! OK. Tina has absolutely no right to have jumped down Bette’s back for something she has no control over when shes standing there with her WIFE while her GIRLFRIEND is asking her to dinner. And the fact that she is actually thinking about it says alot And this line here “Damn I like them both…” just makes me want to scream. This is an excellent story. You keep me wanting more. Im mad you left it like that though. I need to see what Tina says. Ok Im clam now. PHEW, Tina needs to think and get her shit together.

    7. I second Neq. Tina…..WTF??? What are you doing? You just got finished jumping all over Bette and putting her back together again after you broke her down. Now you’re running around “thinking” about things with Hell-ena?? I can understand that she’d still have some residual liking for Helena, but come on, Tee. Don’t front on Bette in front of Ms. Peabody. Another great one Vak! Please post soon. =)
