After she hadn’t heard anymore crying she realized Tina cried herself to sleep. Bette had gotten a blanket and put it over her then she sat down on the couch and just waited until she awoke
Bette: You fell asleep sweetie. You were just having a bad dream, your okay
Tina: FuckI just dreamt I was getting married to Eric, god my heart is racing
Bette: Okay not a bad dream, you were having a nightmare
Tina: how can you be so cruel..
Bette: I’m sorry, I was just joking
Tina sat up, and Bette got a good look at her. Her face was red and tear stricken, her eyes were glazed over and unfocused. Just then the phone rang, Tina wasn’t in any mood to talk to anyone. She just bowed her head down and waited for the machine to pick up
Hey it’s Tina, Sorry I missed your call, leave a message or call the cell…(Beep)
Eric: I’m leaving today to New York, I’ve decided to catch a flight out now. The city air may clear my thoughts, please don’t call me I’ll call you, It hurt so much just now to hear your voice on the machine I couldn’t bare to talk to you right now. If in the meantime you do decide to truly leave me, because I know in my heart I still want to be with you despite your news, I just ask one thing. I ask that you do something to make me hate you because it’s the only way I’ll stop loving you. (Beep)
Talk about competition Bette thought to herself. Then she thought God can’t I ever be serious
Tina: Oh god, what am I going to do
Bette got up and walked over to Tina. Sat down beside her. Tina put her head in Bette’s lap and Bette ran her fingers through Tina’s hair
Bette: Do you want to talk?
Tina: Not really I just can’t believe He was going to ask me to marry him today.
Bette: I don’t know what to say babe. I couldn’t; imagine what he’s going through. My heart wouldn’t be able to stand for that sort of torture. I would be so distraught

I thought what is going on with this story, then Tina woke up from a bad dream and i was like thank god. Love this story and I am also glad they did not sleep thogether, it’s to soon. Awsome can’t wait for more.

well u really had me going there in the beginning. Thank God it was just a dream!!! I gotta say it again I love this funny side of Bette, and boy u capture there emotions so well. OK..the nerves were a little frayed but they’re much better now. Post soon and actually, I’m glad you’re not letting them have sex so soon. Tina is still confused and I don’t want her getting into anything with Bette and not be truly ‘there’ emotionally.
