    Bette opens up

    Previously

     

    Bette: But I don’t want to be alone. I’m tired of being alone. Everyday I go home and I’m alone. I wrap myself up in my work so I don’t have to think about being alone in that house.

     

    Dana: You choose to be alone. You can have anyone you want

     

    Bette: I don’t just want anyone, I want her.

     

    With that Bette left Dana standing there With a determined look on her face she left the bar, started her car and was down the road before Dana could realize what had just happened

    Chapter10

     

     

    Meanwhile in the bathroom, Alice was desperately trying to keep her patience with Dana. She was somewhat relieved they had gotten interrupted before she had said something she regretted. Alice was pacing the bathroom for about 15 minutes when she realized she better get back out there before Dana thought she had left because of there stupid fight. She was about to step out of the bathroom when her cell phone rang.

     

    Alice: Hello

     

    Tina: Hey al, is this a bad time?

     

    Alice: Um no not really, what’s up aren’t you supposed to be out with Eric?

     

    Tina: I was, he had to go back into work.

     

    Alice: That sucks, do you want to come outoh wait Bette’s here never mind, you don’t want to be around her as I remember?

     

    Tina: Bette’s there?

     

    Alice: Yeah she had to talk to Dana about somethingIs there something wrong?

     

    Tina: Well not exactly oh I don’t know Alice

     

    Alice: Did something happen between you and Eric. Are you guys fighting?

     

    Tina: No everything is fine between us. It’s just we kissed

     

    Alice: You and Eric have kissed plenty of times actually you have done a lot more than that so what’s the big deal

     

    Tina: Not me and Eric, Me and Bette

     

    Alice: Whoa repeat thatDid I hear what I think I just heard?

     

    Tina: Yes, and it wasn’t just one time, we shared several kisses.

     

    Alice: oh noI suppose that’s why she’s here

     

    Tina: I guess, we were supposed to go there together but we both decided it wouldn’t have been the smartest idea.
