“Almost done!” Dana yelled out from the bedroom.
“Fixing Dane’s hair!” Shane shouted out.
Just then Tina’s stomach let out an audible growl. “Was that me?”
Alice laughed. “Doesn’t Porter feed you?”
“We’ve been on the go all day…we really kind of forgot…” Tina explained.
“Uh huh,” Alice gave Tina the investigative fish eye. “Hmmm…wonder whatcha been busy doing…”
Tina let out a giggle. “I don’t even want to know what’s going on in that mind of yours!”
Alice pretended to be insulted. “This mind is a hell of a fun place!”
“I’m sure it is, Alice.” Tina smiled. “Now kindly feed me something before I pass out.”
“I’ve just got to grab my purse from the bedroom. Oh, and tell Laurel and Hardy back there to move their asses.” Alice began to walk away but pointed Tina in the right direction. “Help yourself to whatever you find in the kitchen!”
Tina’s stomach growled yet again as she made her way into the kitchen. She smiled when she saw a plate containing brownies on the kitchen counter top. “Jackpot!” She grabbed a brownie and also got herself a glass of water.
By the time the trio had walked into the living room, Tina was sitting patiently on the living room couch.
“Hey Tee,” Shane greeted her with a hug.
“Ready to dance up a storm at the club, Tina?” Dana asked with smile.
“I’ve got a feeling…tonight’s going to be a good night!” Tina answered.
“That’s the spirit, my party panties partner in crime!” Alice shouted out from the kitchen where she grabbed her keys off the counter top. Alice noticed the remaining three of her ‘special brownies’ were…gone. “Holy fuck!”

The group of women were sitting a corner table at the club which was packed with people and had music thumping loudly throughout the place. The girls were happily sharing drinks, good conversation and much laughter.
“How about this pick up line?” Shane smiled widely. “The word of the day is ‘legs.’ Let’s go back to my place and spread the word.”
The women erupted in laughter.
“I bet you’ve actually used that one, stud!” Alice laughed.

Uh oh. How long before those brownies Tina had kick in, full force? Bette’s probably going to be wondering exactly what has gotten into her girlfriend. Strange, some sentences missing in my comment. Well, again: “She let out a frustrated sigh and looked up at the ceiling. “Give me strength…”” LOL! Nice to see some making out! I think it’s obvious now that I need to ask for brownies. Nothing else will do. LOL. Alice is SOOOOO dead. I was a little scared Tina’s bathroom trip was going to be the start of her brownie fun. But you’re trying to melt me, not give me a heart attack (though that whole “I need to change” scene almost did). I’m loving Alice and Tina as a comedy pair. XOXOX

HA! Oh my – you promised a fun chapter and you certainly did NOT disappoint, sweets. I have to admit, I am *still* laughing aloud at the pickup lines the gals were discussing. I’m loving the group dynamic and can only imagine how strong Al’s special brownies really are for poor Tina. Thanks for making cranky Lil G disappear and happy-go-squealing Lil G magically emerge.

As soon as I saw the word “brownies” I knew what was up. Hopefully she won’t do too much damage. They will have to watch her for the rest of the night. Bette will want to ring Alice’s neck. But then again she didn’t know that Tina would eat them let alone three.
