    A Bette/Tina beginning


    Chapter 3

     

       Bette has been mad at her father before but this time she was beyond mad at him. He had held her up at the Planet for over three hours. She finally had to tell him that she has prior engagements that she had to be at. After leaving the Planet Bette called James.

     

    James: Dean Porter’s office how may I help you?

     

    Bette: James its Bette I am on my way back to the office, I just wanted to check in on how things went today with Ms. Kennard?

     

    James: It went excellent. Ms. Kennard is nothing but respectful, professional, and she made us all feel very comfortable.

     

    Bette: That is great, I am glad to hear that. If she has a minute I would like to talk to her, so could you put her in the phone please?

     

    James: Sorry Bette she just left.

     

    Bette: Oh, but she knows that the university hired her for the fund raiser too.

     

    James: Yes, she knows. She just wanted to change out of her jeans and tee shirt, she said she didn’t thing that was appropriate attire for the event tonight.

     

     

     

    Bette: Alright, I will see you in a few.

     

    James: Okay

     

       The fund raiser had begun and Bette had not seen Tina yet. This made her mad because Tina didn’t return on time and that was unprofessional of her. Bette needed to find James and have him call Ms. Kennard or her assistant. Bette never saw Alice walking up on her.

     

    Alice: Hey Porter how the hell are you?

     

    Bette: Alice I don’t have time for your shit right now and by the way tonight it would be nice for you to call me Dean Porter.

     

    Alice: Damn Porter, on my mistake damn Dean Porter don’t get your panties in a bunch, who or what pissed in your cheerios?

     

    Bette: For your information Alice your friend Tina Kennard was hired by this university to do a job tonight and she is a no show and that is a problem.

     

    Alice: I didn’t know that you knew that I knew Tina.

     

    Bette: I didn’t know until today.

    12. So Alice is the key in this story. She knows both women and she can make it happen or break it. So both of them think that the other one is gorgeous. This is so cool. I love this setting and the story is so cool. Please post soon.
