A Single Mom meets some one new ch 70
Gillian walked into her room and slammed the door behind her. She
failed to notice skylar siiting next to the window. Gilliam walked
straight past her into the bathroom only to quickly return.
"skylar?" she asked
"I’ve been waiting for you." skylar engulfed gillian in her arms.
Gillian began to cry happy tears.
"I missed you so much." she sobbed. "I never thought this would be so
hard."
"what have you done?" she asked.
"I’m going to fill the role I was born to"
"and what role is that?" skylar pulled away from her a little
"I’m going to be queen of this country." she said
"when?" skylar sat down
"it depends" gillian sat down on the bed next to her girl friend
"on?"skylar shifted nervously
"on if my dad decisdes to given up his right to rule if he does I’ll
take the thrown on my 21st birthday or when my grandmother dies. If he
does decide to become king i won’t take over until he steps down or
dies which ever comes first." gillian tried to be brave.
"if you dont want to be queen you dont have to."skylar said
"yes I do my brother isn’t ever going to rule and my father isn’t
going to have any more children besides its not only my birthright its
my duty as a member of this country" gillian looked at skylar showing
her, her heart. Skylar knew in that moment that gillian felt that it
wasn’t a sacrifice it was here destiny.
"ok if this is what you want then I will support you" skylar tool hold
of gillian’s hands.
"this is my future I have no control of it. Granny has agreed to let
me go to CU as long as I agree to visit regulararly." gllian smiled
"good you need to tell your mom that." skylar pulled her phone out of
her pocket
"your right but this is something I have to do in person." gillian
pushed a button on her watch. Jaime walked in the room.
"jaime I need to go see my mom." she stood.
"your car is waiting for you downstairs." she said
"I’m going with you." skylar said
"do you have a death wish? No I have to go alone." gillian said
"no we’ll go and wait with Helena." jaime said
"ok." gillian caved in all honesty she wanted them there.

Gillian took a deep breath and bravely knocked on the door of room
3769. Her heart raced. The door flew open.
Bette stood hands on her hips. The flood gates opened and tears
streamed down gillian’s face as she leapt into bette’s arms. Bette
wrapped her arms around gillian and held her tight
"dont you ever ever do that again." bette’s said
"I won’t I swear." gillian sobbed.
" I just got of the phone with my old lawyer he’s on his…" tina
stopped staring any the two girls in her life that she would die for.
"mom I’m sorry." gillian said
"shh now its okay we can go home." tina said wiping the tears from her
little girls face.
"mom we needto talk." gillian said
"there’s nothing to talk about we are all going home to LA and when we
get back you are grounded for the rest of you life." tina said
"if you aren’t going to listen to me then I have to leave " gillian said
"you aren’t going anywhere." tina said
"mom I am going to be queen of this country one day you always knew
that was a possibilty especially after kenny got his first DUI. I want
you support because God knows I’m going to need you to thier for me if
I have to take the thrown at 18. I want your support I want us to be
happy but it is my destiny to be queen and I would never forgive
myself if I didn’t give it my best shot. As queen I can change the
lives of people in this country. When I die I want to be able to say I
did the best I could to make someones life better. Why can’t you
understand that?"gillian asked.

Hey CHarmed, Great to have you back and posting more of this delightful drama. What a turn around of events over the last few chapters. Guess this explains so much of the cloak and dagger stuff going on with Gillian. I want Tina and Bette to fully support Gillian and her choice. Taking on this kind of responsibility is life changing for Gillian and all those around her. Let it roll… I can’t wait til next Monday to catch up but will do so.
