Tina: Yeah you’re right… but still I should not have pried. I’m sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable.

“It’s okay Tina I just don’t want to devulge any information that would put my family at a greater risk and if Bette didn’t tell you there must be a reason, right?” Robin stated now wandering why Bette didn’t tell Tina.

"Right but knowing Bette she probably just didn’t want to worry me," Tina said attempted to sound non-chalant.

“Yeah, I’m sure that must be it,” Robin stated unconvincily.

Just then Tina heard Natalie crying and went to check on her.

"Um that sounds like Natalie. Excuse me Robin,” Tina said.

Robin: Sure.

Tina entered Xaviera and Natalie’s bedroom. Amazingly Xaviera was still asleep despite Natalie’s cries.

Tina picked Natalie up from her crib and rocked her gently.

Tina: What is it babygirl, Huh?

Just then when Tina held Natalie to her chest the infant began to suck Tina’s shirt.

Tina: Oh I see someone is hungry.

Tina pulled her shirt and bra up so Natalie could latch onto her breast. She loved the fact that she and Bette could breastfeed any one of the girls since they both were producing milk. Tina smiled as Natalie instinctively took her breast. Tina sat down in the rocking chair with Natalie. After settling in the rocking chair, Tina’s thoughts went back to the conversation with Robin. She felt frustrated that she wasn’t getting any closer to finding out why the family was there or where they came from.

“Did Bette want more than one wife?” “No, that’s ridiculous,” she thought. She quickly removed that idea from her thinking.

Were these women accused of a murder and Bette believed them to be innocent?

Tina continued to think of various scenarios in her head none of which seemed believable. So she decided to go the source and that source was Bette. Besides she felt she had the right to know the story behind this family since they were living in her home. Tina decided that she would ask her mothers to baby-sit so she and Bette could get some alone time over the weekend. She would ask Bette to see if she could get off early on Saturday so they could have a mini-romantic get away. Maybe beam to Florida for a day and halve. Tina thought after some loving Bette would tell all.
