    Chapter 44

     

     

    Tina nodded her head.

     

     

    “We promised we’d be honest with each other that we would keep on doing this until it wasn’t working anymore, I’m not naive Tina, ever since she’s been back there has been these little changes in you when you talk about her your eyes light up. I see the way you look at her and the way she looks at you there is still something there.”

     

    “Helena, you have it all wrong, I’m with you”

     

     

    “Yeah, but you really want to be with her”

     

     

    Helena got back up and started pacing the room again.

     

     

    “Bloody hell” Helena said in frustration

     

     

    “Look Tina I’m going to go home to London for a week maybe two, take the time to find out what you really want I’ll do the same ok?” Helena said

     

     

     

    “Helena” Tina whispered

     

     

    Helena walked over to Tina and took her face in her hands

     

     

    “Come on Tina, we both know we want different things maybe it’s better this way I was starting to really care for you maybe we should just take this time apart and evaluate our relationship before one of us gets really hurt, and by one of us I mean me”

     

     

    Helena placed a light kiss on Tina’s lips.

     

     

    “Call me ok” Helena asked

     

     

    “I will” Tina replied she got out of bed and put on her robe. As she walked Helena to the door they gave each other one last hug.

     

     

    Tina walked over to the guestroom and saw Bette sitting in edge of the bed.

     

     

    “I’m sorry T I didn’t know it was her, I thought she was out of town”

     

     

    “It’s ok Bette no worries, you hungry?” Tina asked

     

     

    “Is she ok? She’s not mad or anything is she?”

     

     

    “No don’t worry ok everything’s ok, she wanted me to go with her to London for a week, she has some family business she need to attend to” Tina said

     

    Bette felt a tightening in her chest thinking of Tina leaving for a week.

     

     

    “Oh when are you leaving?” Bette asked

    3. I love it. Invite her indeed. This is almost fun, except for Helena. Helena and Shane are correct, the love they feel for each other is so evident to everyone but them. This is just great. Let them keep saring the house and meals, etc. they will very quickly realize just how much they do care for each other. Thanks for posting. PPS

    4. Oh goody another post, maybe we can get one more today. Bette is cracking me up. She’s been having Sunday brunch for a month at Tina’s parents. This should be good. TahTah Helena.

    7. I started taking breaks between each paragraph so it’ll seem longer, I’d go throw a load in the washer or recaulk my shower. Then my eyes would cheat and look down. Thanks for the 3 in 1 day ILM. You’re awesome.

    10. Ok, something I meant to say earlier and was too excited. Is Helena crazy ir what? Tina didn’t need to ask her permission to let Bette stay there. Hell, I do believe it is Tina’s house after all, she can invite anyone she wants to stay there. Permission, I don’t think so. Goodbye Helena, and don’t come back. Enough said.

As much I love the Brit, I love Tibette more.Now I hope Tina’s folks can sprinkle some “give Bette another try” sense in her coffee…. as this “lets be friends” thingy is just not cutting it… PPS and thanks for posting 2 chapters in one go

    15. It’s so good to meet a sense-making Helena. I think she didn’t have to give her permission for Bette, she should have known though. I read it taking brakes too so that it would last longer…lol

    16. wow it’s great to see 2 posts! i would love to read another one very soon. I’m a tibetter but my heart goes out a little to Helena in this story. Thought Bette wanted to win Tina back earlier on in the story. Can’t wait to see how things go. So far Tina has been really nice to Bette but I wonder if Bette goes after her would Tina be able to accept her wholeheartedly again? It’s really hard to believe and trust a person again after you see them cheat on you.
