    Chapter 20

     

     

    “Oh, Tina I’m going to be in LA, next month training for the LA tournament, I’ll be there for at least a month we should get together”

     

     

    “yeah sounds like fun, I would love for you to meet my friends, I know you’re going to be training but I can show you around the LA club scene my friend Shane’s girl friend is a very popular DJ she can get us into all the happening clubs”

     

     

    “Sounds like fun, I’ll call you when I know the dates for sure”

     

    “Do you have somewhere to stay?” Tina asked

     

     

    “Yeah I actually own a condo in West Hollywood; I play a lot in the smaller tournaments back west in San Diego, LA, and Palm Springs so I invested in a condo sometime ago”

     

    “Oh ok that’s not too far from the college, or from where I live, it’s going to be so much fun Dane” Tina was excited

     

    “Well Bette while our significant others are busy partying in LA what should we plan maybe we should do a little partying of our own” Alice said sarcastically

     

     

    “Partying?” Bette asked looking at Tina

     

     

    “I’m just going to show Dana around babe”

     

     

    Bette leaned in and gave Tina a quick kiss on the lips.

     

     

    “Awe Porter you’re such a sucker” Alice rolled her eyes

     

     

    “A sucker for hot blondes” Bette winked

     

     

    ”Yeah, just make sure it’s one particular blonde” Tina said pointing at herself

     

     

    “Me”

     

     

     

    “Only you T” Bette kissed Tina gain

     

     

    “So cute” Dana said

     

     

    “Ugh, you guys need to stop with all, the PDA, your making me sick” Alice said

     

     

    They finished eating said their goodbyes they would see each other tonight at the museum function.

     

     

    “I really love them Bette they’re great together”

     

     

    “They love you too” Bette took Tina’s hand in hers

     

     

     

    “Come on I need to pick up something for tonight” Bette said

     

     

    “Where are we going?”

     

     

    “Just come on” Bette smiled

     

     

     

    Bette walked Tina to a Jewelry Store, Tina could tell the store was high end it was small but Tina noticed they had a lot of ‘one of a kind’ items.  Bette walked up the woman behind the counter and greeted her by name.

    8. Hey iluvmuzic, Bette and Tina are just so perfect together. It was so touching that Bette was prepared to let Tina go if it meant that Tina was happy. This self-sacrifice shows just how much Bette loves Tina.Their gentle teasing was sweet and innocent.It was pleasing to have Bette share her potential new job in LA and the difficulties this might bring. This really shows how well they are communicating. Tina has to know how serious Bette is about giving this relationship the best chances or surviving all eventualities.Comic relief was present when Alice and Dana added their two-cents about Bette and Tina’s relationship. Just adorable to have Bette be grumpy while Tee is away and then all soft and cuddlely when she is around.Then the visit to the jewelers was warm and fuzzy. Tina’s jealousy was cute. She was really riled with Bette and Julia’s familiarity.Bette’s gift was stunning and melted Tina’s heart instantly.
