Tina: Its ok Bette……Im glad your here…..did you call Maria?
Bette: Yes I did…..they are comming here later today to see you T…..I have to go….I have to change clothes and take a shower, so Ill see you later ok……are you going to be alright T
Tina: Just get out of here, Bette…….Ill see you later
Bette leaned in to give Tina a soft kiss and their lips met. The kiss was gently and soft. Bette didnt want to hurt Tina. A nurse came into the room, just as they were pulling away form the kiss.
Nurse: I see miss Kennard is feeling much better. And to you sleeping beauty, you better get out of here before our head nurse comes in at 7 am
Bette: Thanks……Ill see you later, T and if you need anything please call, ok…buy
Nurse: So miss Kennard…….how are you feeling this morning
Tina: Ok, but I have some pain in my shoulder
Nurse: Ill get you some morfin for that…….detective Porter sure know how to put the charme on, when she wants something…..she came here late last night and wantet to see, how you were…….we normaly dont allow visitors unless their family, but I made an exception in your case, miss Kennard
Tina: Thank you…..and please call me Tina
Nurse: ok Tina…my name is Nancy
Bette went home to take a shower and some new clothes. She made a few calls and went out the door to go to work.
When she came to the station everybody was already working including Lara. Lara motioned for Bette to come over. Bette poured herself and Lara a cup of coffee and sat down in a chair, waiting for Lara to finish her conversation on the phone.
Lara: So Porter…..I see you still among the living…how is Tina doing?
Bette: Shes ok…….I talket with her this morning
Lara: This morning……what, did you sleep with her?
Bette: (smiling) Sort of…I fell asleep on the chair beside her bed
Lara: (laughing) That will be the first for you, Bette…..but you look much better today
Bette: Thanks…….so what did you find out about yesterday. My gut tells me, that the accident was meant for either Tina or Mr. Fallon, but the question is who and why?
Lara: I agree……what did Mr. Fallon tell you yesterday?
Bette: I wrote it all down for you, but he did say that Tina was not involved…but I dont know about that…Ill ask her later today, if she is up to it. Ok lets hear what you have………

Excellent description of the extrication of Tina at the scene. That is exactly what fireman would do. I just love this story, T. Awesome job.
