Bette: “Sooooo…….I guess last night got pretty hot for you!!!!!!!!!!!”

Lara: “No kidding Porter”

Bette: “I thought I told Shane not to get you drunk?”

Lara: You did……….shes worse that me…….I finally got her drunk and then I have to go to work the next day”

Bette: “So Shane is in a worse state than you….(laughing)…..good that must be a sight for sore eyes”

Lara: “***** you….Porter”

Bette: “Hey………be nice ok….come on, lets get you cleaned up and get you sober again”

While Bette cleaned Lara up and go some water and cola into her, the team got briefed on the undercover case and what their roles were going to be like in the near future.

James: “That can take weeks…………even months for Bette and I to gain their trust before they let us in……”

Boss: “I know………that is why it is important, that it is you two, because you know each other so well………..and a third party will join you later on……..once you get settled”

Bette: “What do you mean get settled?”

Boss: “Ohhhhh………….didnt I mention that…….youre moving to New York……..we have already set it up for you!!!!!………..youre leaving tonight on the next military plane out of here”

Bette: “WHAT……………..you didnt mention moving somewhere, Sir”

Boss: “Sorry Porter…………but its important for the case that youll move.

Bette: “I cant just move away for weeks………what about my life???”

Boss: “What life!!!!!!!!!!……..you normaly work, drink, have ***** and sleep once and while……….so what are we talking about?”

Bette: (yelling) “ME…………were talking about me, Sir”

Boss: “Porter………you have no life………and you are the best detective for the job….now go home and pack…….be back here in a few hours”

Bette was speechless as her boss went back into his office to make a few phonecalls.

Lare came back to her desk with a big cup of coffee and turned on her computer.

Lara: “Bette……..Ill make the paperwork for you and James………itll be ready in a few hours”

Bette: “Thanks Lara…………can you cover for me………I need to talk to Tina first”

Lara: “Ohhh…………..I forgot about her!!!!!!!!!”

Bette: “Thanks………….will you cover for me while Im away?”

Lara: “Sure, dont be long………Ill call you when the papers are ready”

Bette was already out of the door, when Lara turned around to face her.

Bette went down to her car and took her phone out. She dialed her own house number but no answer…….she tried Tinas cell but no luck eighter.

Bette knew she had to speak to Tina, before she had to leave tonight, as she had no idea of when she would be back – in a week or maby a month or two.

She drove to the officebuilding where Tina worked. Parked her car and went in. The receptionist reconiced her right away and she was allowed up. She took the elevator up to the 16^th floor and walked down towords Tinas office.

Tinas secretary Jenny was sitting at the front desk and looked up as Bette entered.

Bette: “Hey Jenny…………is Tina in?”

Jenny: (smiling) “Sorry Bette………..you just missed her………she went out with some boardmembers about 20 minutes ago………and I dont know, when they will be back”

Bette: “Ohhh………do you know, where they went and how I can reach her?”

Jenny: “Sorry Bette…………that is classified………have you tried her cell?”

Bette: “Year…………shes not picking it up……..it goes straight to voicemail”

Jenny: “Then I cant help you…………but I can leave her a message”

Bette: “Thanks – but I need to tell her this myself………….do you have a piece of paper and a pen, Jenny?”

Jenny: “Sure………….here you go……..you can use Tinas office if you like”

Bette went into Tinas office and sat behind her desk. Bettes eyes went over Tinas desk to get a feel of Tina……………on Tinas desk was a picture of Charlot but as she looked over toward the window she saw a picture of Eric with his arms wrapped around Tina, standing on a piece of furniture.

Bette got tears in her eyes as she stood up and went over towards the picture to pick it up. She placed it beside the picture of Charlot standing on Tinas desk as she wrote a letter for Tina.
