    So what did happen between Bette and Melvin in the past???

     

    Tina: “and?”

     

    Bette: “Kit reactet so differently than daddy……..she said, she would always be there for me what ever happend…….and that she loved me, no mater what”

     

    Tina: “Ohh Bette………then what?”

     

    Bette: “Then I lived my life and became a cop…….I met the gang and afcourse Lara……we startet at the same time at the academy, so we teamed up and became best friends”

     

    Tina: “But that dosent explain the way, you were talking to your father today”

     

    Bette: (smiling) “Kit and Lara……..Lara told me about a gallery opening and we went……..what she didnt tell me, was that it was my fathers gallery…”

     

    Tina: “So she set you up”

     

    Bette: “Maybe…..but I did have a good time and my father and I spoke for the first time in years”

     

    Tina: “The photo on the stand with you, Kit and your father?”

     

    Bette: “Year, that is from that evening……but he still dosent approve of my lifestyle…..but we can have a conversation today”

     

    Tina: “Then why are you still mad at him, Bette?”

     

    Bette: “Because he wasnt there, when I needed him…….when the accident happend and I almost died…….he was to busy to come and visit his little girl…….while the others took turn and watched over me!!!”

     

    Tina: “You ok, Bette……..I mean about telling me this?”

     

    Bette taking Tinas hand into hers

     

    Bette: “I wantet too…..now you know……does that change anything between us?”

     

    Tina: (stroking Bettes face) “No…..Its making us stronger……and it has changed my view on your father……but I still think hes growing softer”

     

    Bette: “Why are you doing this, Tee…….making me think about my father”

     

    Tina: “Because, I know what its like to not having one around……..my father died years ago and you still have yours, Bette”

     

    Bette: (taking a deep breath) “I know……but he still pisses me off sometimes, Tee”

     

    Tina: “I can see that……is that the reason, why youre seeing Carmen again?”

     

    Bette: (smiling) “Carmen has helped me with my past and the acceptance of my fathers decision…….but mostly about the close calls, Ive had a few times”

     

    Tina: “So Carmen plays a big role in your life as well?”

     

    Bette: (Looking confused) “No…….Tina, shes my psychiatrist, when ever I need her to be…….its her job to contact us after an incident…..she does that to everyone at the station, Tina”

    2. i love Bette and Charlot together Charlot seems like her a lot and kids love is so pure and about Tina why she need space from Bette? iam glad Bette was able to open up with Tina was a big step ok great chapter as always post soon

    11. Kommer hjem od hvad venter der på mig; et nyt kapitel fta dig. dagen blev lige meget bedre. Well Melvin was really mean in the past but maby he has come around a bit. It seems like it. As always great chapter.

    13. Hello Trolle great chapter as always… Wow Melvin was meano once… but he is better now… Hope Tina will visit Bette soon. Men Bette har vel også noget arbejde hun skal passe…. Good to see Bette open up to Tina…Jeg er klar til næste kapitel så kom bare an med det der drama;-)

    14. Very interesting chaptr. I like Charlet”s effect on Melvin (Maybe she will help mellow him out.) Perhaps Tina and Charlo being away will help Bette come on out of her shell. What a difference a day makes (First she was kind of bothered about them being in her personal space and now she don’t wnat hem to leave.). Maybe with them gone she will be able to concentrate on work without having to worry about hurring back home. Although, I know that she will miss comming home to them. I think that Melvin was trying to extend an olive branch to Bette. She needs to take it and try to rebuild thier relationship. I hope that Tina will continue to encourage her to do this. Please continue.
