A Love of My Own #4

    Tina: No, Mac.

Mac: Fine I would do it for you. But I guess you are not as good of a friend as I am.

Tina: I am hanging up now. Bye Mac. Said Tina as she giggled and disconnected the phone call. She then looked up to find Bette watching her with a curious smile on her face.

Tina: He uhjust wanted to make sure everything was ok.

Bette: I bet he did. Said Bette with a knowing look on her face.

Tina then walked over to door, locked it, and exited with Bette. Once they were outside, Bette reached out her hand for Tinas.

Bette: Do you mind? Bette asked as she held out her hand.

Tina knew that this was one of those moments that could make or break the date. In a split second she decided.

Tina: Not at all. Tina said as she placed her hand in Bettes and felt what was now becoming a familiar jolt.

    The Restaurant

Tina and Bette entered the restaurant talking animatedly about Tinas work. The conversation continued once they were seated and had ordered.

Bette: So basically, you are the person who edits out all of the errors that writers have made within the script once your studio has bought the work, right?

    Tina: Right.

Bette: Now, do you also add on to the script yourself? asked Bette as she ate her salad.

Tina: Yes I do. Sort of fill the blanks within it. Its amazing; no one usually catches on that quickly to what I do. Tina said as she forked more of her salad.

Bette: Probably because you are an artist in your own right. You may not do it from scratch, but you turn what would normally be mediocre work into the finishing art.

Tina: Wow, what a major ego boost. Ive never thought it like that.

Bette: Well you are. Art comes in many forms, whether it is someone who creates, or someone who showcases it.

Tina: So wouldnt you fall into that category? asked Tina

Bette: I believe so. I have never been able to create anything of substance. Ive always wanted to. I used to dream about being a sensation when I was younger. Of being the new Georgia OKeefe. I just, in no way, had the ability.
