    A good investment-5

“Bette?” Tina called. Bette came from her office, “Yes?”

“I think I’ll go out.” Tina smiled.

Bette looked at her sheepishly “I’m sorry, I took the day off and all I’m doing is spending it in the office.”

“It’s ok, I should be back at around five.”

“Oh, I invited my friends, I hope it’s ok…” Bette said.

“No problem.” Tina smiled walking to Bette kissing her cheek, “Bye.”

Bette stood there a moment. “Bye!!” She yelled. ‘Way over my head…’

Tina came home, she saw cars she didn’t recognized and heard laughter. She walked in to see Bette sitting with four women.

“Tina!” Bette said seeing her, “Hi, come here.” Tina walked to her. “Tina, this is Shane, Dana, Jenny and Alice.” Bette introduced. Everyone smiled, except for Alice.

    “Guys this is Tina…”

    “The little missy.” Shane smiled.

    “Shane…” Bette warned.

“Sorry it’s just… you’re fucking married Bette! That’s like the funniest thing you’ve ever done since putting laxative in Natasha’s coffee!” Shane laughed.

“Ha ha” Bette said. “Tina why won’t you join us?” Bette asked.

“No, really. Don’t let me bother you.”

“I insist, unless you’re going out.” Bette hesitantly said.

“Oh no! Of course not.” Tina quickly replied.

“Then please, join us” Bette insisted.

“No, I don’t want to impose.”

“Oh for fuck sake just join us Tina! I can’t stand your little ‘you hang up, no you hand up’ game! It’s sickening.” Jenny said.

    Tina blushed and sat down.

“So, Bette, you just told us about how Numan made your life a living hell yesterday.” Shane asked smiling.

    “Numan?” Tina asked.

“Natasha” Dana replied laughing, “Or if you want, The Joker.”

    “Green Goblin” Shane said.

    “Freddy Kreuger” Jenny supplied.

“Chucky” Alice added, “God I can’t believe we’re doing this again.” She smiled.

    “Dracula” Bette added smiling.

    “Ms. Burns” Jenny said.

“OH come on no one’s really evil on the Simpson’s!” Alice said.

“She’s right.” Bette agreed. “There’s no evil there, just stupidity.”

“Oh that’s why you spent the entire day watching the marathon?” Alice teased.

    1. Oh Geek…you are a tease…not just a regular cliff hanger…but a tantalizing cliff hanger…very cheeky indeed. Great update, hoping for another soon!

    2. If Tina keeps whispering in Bette’s ear this marriage will be consummated very quickly and very well. Happy they are falling for each other. I’ll bet Tina went out to look for a job, I hope so.Really like this story. PPS

    3. i’m hoping tina went on some job interviews. actions will show bette just how much she wants to change… what a place to leave off… :)PPS

    4. Your so going to drag this out, I know it. I’m ready to go beat the shit out of Natasha. Alice too funny. Gotta love Bette tossing the shoe. Loved the way you had them each state what they’d done for the gang, and here’s Shane’s. She has to sleep with the girl from the pizza palor. I was cracking up.

    5. Wow Tina’s got it bad. OK I see that al has every right to be worried about Tina’s behavior where Bette is concerned but she needs to be open to the possibility that they can work things out.Tina made a big a** mistake but give her a chance to make up for it. PPS
