    Every time Bette said it Tina felt her stomach flatter and her blood rushing to her cheeks. “I love you too”

     

    Bette brought Tina’s hand to her mouth kissing it gently. “I think this trip was just what we needed.”

     

    Tina nodded. Just then a waiter came with a soufflé “It’s on the house.” He smiled. Bette looked around and saw Monique.

     

    “What house?” Bette asked him. 

     

    “I… the hotel…” The waiter said confused.

     

    “The hotel” Bette repeated.

     

    “Yes” The waiter confirmed.

     

    “Well, she’s allergic” Bette said putting the soufflé back on his tray. “Tell the… ‘Hotel’ thanks but I don’t want to kill her.” Bette said dismissing the waiter.

     

    “I’m allergic?” Tina asked “To soufflé?”

     

    “No…” Bette said “To chocolate.”

     

    “Really?” Tina smiled.

     

    Bette nodded “Besides, I was taught never to take candies from strangers.” Bette smiled taking Tina’s hand “You want to get out of here?”

     

    Tina smiled. “You’re lucky you’re cute when you’re jealous.”

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    They walked to a restaurant near the hotel. “Well look who’s out of bed” Alice smiled.

     

    “Hi!” Bette smiled back taking Tina’s hand and joining them.

     

    “Thought you’d be eating at the hotel.” Dana said.

     

    “Yeah me too” Tina smiled. “We met Monique, my ex.”

     

    “Hardly an ex” Bette interrupted.

     

    Tina smiled “And Bette got a little jealous.”

     

    “I wasn’t jealous.” Bette denied.

     

    “Bette wasn’t jealous.” Alice agreed.

     

    “Thank you” Bette smiled.

     

    “Bette’s never jealous.”  Alice explained. “I mean I remember when Jodie’s ex… what was her name?”

     

    “Annie” Bette tried.

     

    “Amy! Right” Alice continued. “Amy was with us. I mean, she and Jodie were eye fucking each other all night and Bette didn’t even care enough to notice.”

     

    “They were hardly eye-fucking.” Bette disagree.

     

    Alice laughed, “See! I mean Bette doesn’t do jealous. Used to drive her girlfriends nuts.”

     

    “She called the girl mannequin.” Tina said.

     

    “I was confused.”

     

    “And told her I was allergic to chocolate when she brought us a free soufflé”

    1. They have had a blast in Paris, now hwat awaits them at home, mother katherine and kelley the monster. Hopefully everything will come to light after they are home and they will learn who was behind all the problems. Great chapter. PPS
