2 Months Later…

On that faithful night two months ago I thought for sure that I wouldn’t live to see the happy days I’m seeing now Bette and I are back together now and the future looks bright now. We realize the past is the past, we forgiven but will won’t forget because it was a learning expierience for the both of us. Career wise things are great too with Bette being offered the opportunity to and the financial backing she needs to build her own museum. Helena Peabody is flying in today to have a meeting with Bette tommorow, she seems to be a very generous woman. I’m working at The Cradle of Life Crisis Center, which is a shelter/help center that caters to young women who have been physically abused, raped, abadoned, or whom are homeless. It was Nylan’s idea to start the foundation and we’re hoping to expand the centers throughout the major cities in the US. Boy I have to hurry because today is the day that…

Bette and Tina sat in the doctor’s office awaiting the outcome of Tina’s test. They looked at one another and smilled as they held hands. Bette bit her lip and looked away, Tina could feel a little tremble while holding her hand.

“It’s gonna be okay baby…no need for you get so worked up” she rubbed Bette’s hand with her thumb as she spoke. Bette breathed in deeply to calm her heart that was beating extremely fast.

“Yeah I know but what is taking her so long it feels like I’ve been sitting here for hours…I just wanna know if its good news or bad news for God’s sake” Bette replied letting out a long sigh. Tina held her hand tighter trying to give her the support she needed now.

“Okay Ms Kennard we have your test results…if you would just follow me into my office so we could sit down and discuss them” Tina stood up and Bette followed as they we guided into Dr. Willowbee’s office, she shut the door behind. She signaled for Bette and Tina to be seated, they did so and she began to speak.

“Well Ms. Kennard…the results of your test were positive” Tina’s breath was caught in her throat as she looked over at Bette and watched tears trickled down her face.
