Previously-

“T, when we were at the beach yesterday I saw a Real Estate office down the way a bit and thought I’d stop by there tomorrow while you’re at work.  Just to get some info about what’s out there.”

“Bette that’s a great idea, if you wait until lunch time I could meet you there and we could grab a quick bite before going to the Real Estate office.”

“T, I didn’t think you’d be interested.  What’s with the change of heart?”

“Babe I realize that we need a fresh start some place that isn’t yours and isn’t mine but is ours together, especially because Angie thinks of our houses as yours and mine.  Just think we could get a nice place down by the beach that could have four or five bedrooms, enough for our family to come and visit.  They are probably not going to be too happy about us moving farther away.”

“T, we have to do what’s best for us not them, they’ll have to deal with it.  But it will be great to have the extra room.  These two bedroom houses are just too small for us now that we’re really blending two households together.”

“Let’s not tell the family until we see what’s out there though, okay Bette.”

“No mentioning it with Angie around then I guess because she sure has Alice’s gift of hearing things and passing it on.”  Bette laughs

Before they knew it, it was 5pm and time for Bette to throw the food on the grill.  Anytime the girls would be showing up.

Tasha and Alice were the first to show up, with a large Caesar salad from The Planet.  Alice said “hi” then stripped off her clothing to reveal her bathing suit at which point she jumped into the pool.  Once Shane saw Tasha and Alice show up, she moseyed over from next door, already in her suit she jumped in to join Alice.

“Angie, come here” asked Bette

Angelica ran over to her mom, smiling at her “Momma?”

“Ang, why don’t you go get Momma T and tell you Aunt’s dinner’s ready.”

“Okay.”

Angelica ran into the house, found Tina told her to come outside then ran back outside to the pool and yelled “Dinner ready, eat now’”
